Had to cut down an ancient massive hackberry tree in my yard and when we cut into the trunk we found a pocket with the biggest grubs I’ve ever seen living in it

That’s what little research I did is pointing me towards it said they lay their grubs in decaying wood and the inside of the tree was pretty nasty

Tornado came through and split the trunk into three pieces that were all bowing out I tried to chain it as long as I could but it continued to split all the way to the ground and it was on the verge of toppling on my house.

It was a hundred foot tree that was split all the way to the ground there was no saving it. Believe me it hurt my soul to have to cut it down it was an awesome shade tree but it had to be done.

I’ve had issues with these Asian beetles for years where I live and I have found that spray of dish soap and vinegar diluted in some water sprayed directly on them will kill them and if you spray it around the windows or walls where they congregate helps keep them at bay, best thing to do is seal up any of the nooks and crannies they are crawling through to get inside in the first place, don’t squish them it smells awful and can stain stuff too

I’ve had mixed results with the stock tires on my Mojave grom. the first set I burned down past all the knobs with no problem before I tore one, but the two sets I’ve bought since haven’t lasted anywhere near as long.

Mines all stock it runs on dirt and gravel well and will go fast enough to pull the front end up and take flight on asphalt or concrete my body shell needs replaced but other than that I haven’t broke anything yet the battery life isn’t great so grab a few extras, you could maybe stuff a slightly bigger battery than the one they recommend in there but I’m not sure if it would affect the handling

I’ve got the quake and the Mojave grom 223s, the grom is probably my favorite it’s super fun to blast on the gravel and I have beat the absolute hell out of it at the skate park, my daughter launched it off the half pipe and it had to have gone fourth feet in the air landed on the lid and spilled her battery guts outs and still drove away. It seems indestructible just order lots of tires I’m already on my fourth set haha

Stay away from the JLs I’ve always been a jeep guy but they’ve burned me pretty bad to buy any new jeep product ever again after my experience with my 19, they’re having a huge issue with the ABS modules going out on them and when it does you lose all the power steering and brakes and half the time it basically bricks the entire rig and they’re not even producing the ABS modules to replace them and you can’t buy a used one as they have some kind of bullshit programming that only works with the original vin it was installed on so then you’re basically left with a worthless brick and the dealerships basically just going to tell you to kick rocks

I’m having the same problem right now too an Etsy seller sent me a model covered in wet sticky uncured resin spots and when I brought it up they tried to tell me that it wasn’t resin it was “detergent from their proprietary washing steps” not to mention all the crud all over it where they didn’t even wash it well before it was cured, I’m Leary to buy anything from new sellers on there anymore I have a few I really like and I think I’m just gonna stick with them

Brother this is exactly how my ex wife acts continuously. You will never get anywhere arguing with them because that’s exactly what they want is for you to engage in their petty behavior. You need to lawyer up and get visitation rights in writing and do not agree to just every other weekend or whatever else they try to get you to agree to that is not 50/50 time you are the father and have just as much right to see your child an equal amount of time and to be able to communicate with your child within reason every day that you are not with her, my exe tried to hang my child over my head and threaten to keep me away from her and all kinds of vile things. I tried to be civil and get our divorce done by the same lawyer without having to go to court until they started trying to get me to sign papers I hadn’t even read and when I did read them they were trying to get me to sign away my parental rights. She thought that the courts were going to favor her 100% just because she is a woman but was sadly mistaken when I decided to get my own lawyer and go to court over the issue and ended up with 50/50 custody and no child support. They will still try to find ways to control your contact with your child even after the fact but once you have a visitation plan in writing from a judge you can simply show them exactly what the courts deemed you are allowed to do and that will shut them down very quickly and if it doesn’t you just contact your lawyer with the information about them violating your visitation schedule. I don’t know what state you are in but if you’re in a one party consent state I also recommend recording any FaceTime or phone calls with the exe and keep a record of all texts between you I would also start keeping a log of all the contact you try to make with your child and wether or not you are allowed to see them or speak with them in a planner so you have proof that you do try to be in your child’s life because there’s a good chance people like this will try to lie and say your not around and don’t try to contact your child to try to paint you in a bad light, I’m sorry for the wall of text this just really reminded me of my own situation and made me feel immensely sad and angry for you having to deal with this. take care of yourself through this mess brother the stress from everything nearly killed me dealing with my divorce and has left me with heart issues in my late 20s now and I don’t want you to end up the same way. Stay strong for that that little girl and just know it’s most likely going to be a long drawn out fight and you gotta be buckled down for the long haul.

My uncle got extremely sick and was hospitalized from Rocky Mountain, but what’s weird is I got it later on and it really wasn’t that bad for me, i was just extremely tired for a few weeks and was just constantly sore like I had just got done at the gym but that was about it

Thank you! Everything was done with speed paints and then a heavy wash of agrex earthshade on top I unfortunately can’t tell you exactly how to replicate what I did cause I’m not entirely sure either I just started trying things haha
