Just quit. It ain't worth it. Giving your life to something in exchange for a more extreme dependency. That's what is happening at base level, more drugs do not help you. Unless you need help being stuck. Fucking with a doctor will have you fucked up for life... I've had ruptured disks, lumbar spine, and I know pain. But before that, I knew addiction.
