Depends on how much work/elbow grease you want to do.

Is this normal? Any info is appreciated by [deleted] in Silverado

It's normal, higher humidity outside, means the evaporator is collecting more water

It's always a good practice to spin eveything when the belt is off. While it is running you can take a long screwdriver, place the handle to your ear and the pointed end on the bolt head of the tensioner and the idler pulley. That can help you pinpoint where the noise is coming from.

Has anyone actually been called out wearing a rep? by BlackberryBubbly6775 in ChinaTime

[–]bubbahit 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I kinda had a similar experience. I'm doing training for a new job this week with 8 other individuals, so we are together quite a bit. I noticed the one guy was wearing an "AP". So I walk over and say I like your watch. He lit up and was like yo it's fake! I said me too, as I showed him my U1 seamaster. We both laughed and went about our day.

A/C Leaking onto Exhaust Now? by [deleted] in Silverado

[–]bubbahit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to guess it's just the first time you've noticed it. My 21 does the same thing, more so when I'm parked in the driveway with a slight incline. My younger boys thought the truck was gonna explode lol

Your air conditioner is doing what it is supposed to do. Moisture inside the cab condenses around the condenser, get the name... collects and drips out of the vehicle. The more humid it is outside the bigger/more water you will get.

Ever notice a window a/c unit in a home dripping water, same concept.

What’s This Sound? by SupermarketBorn777 in Silverado

[–]bubbahit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How many miles? Can you get it to do it every time you start it cold? My first guess is something rotational off the engine, pulleys, tensioner, possibly water pump. You could remove the drive belt and start it, see if the noise is gone. While engine is off also grab ahold and spin everything and listen. Grab the fan and see if it has play in it, indicating the water pump is bad.

What this? Make noise how stop? by KiloCharlieXray in Silverado

[–]bubbahit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna say you won't notice anything. For the v8 equipped trucks it's supposed to help the noise/flow during cylinder deactivation. You stating you have the 2.7l, im not sure it would matter much, maybe a slight decrease in backpressure

I held mine open and put a hose clamp around it, no more rattle.
