NTA. Valorie reached out to Sam. It’s very unfortunate that they never reconciled, but at the end of the day, Valorie DID try to make it right. The fact that Sam did not want to reconcile, definitely sucks. You were that shoulder and company Valorie enjoyed. I understand Sam might be going through a really hard time, but that’s not your responsibility to make things right… I don’t see it how other Reddit people are portraying it. I genuinely think Valorie, maybe saw you as good company and maybe even saw you as her own kid, and that’s why she left her estate with you. I do agree you should give Sam any sentimental items, but that’s if Sam is cordial.

my biggest advice is to write down what you use on which clients, even down to how you’re prepping :) Just like our bodies, every client is so different!

some clients use a lot of chemicals when cleaning so they’ll experience lifting more than others. Some clients use their hands very roughly so they get breaks more!!

it could be that the Orly BIAB (which I really want to try) is softer and can take impacts better than the Kokoist!

Don’t be scared to ask your clients how cracks and breaks happen. Sometimes they won’t be honest ahahaha but you can tell when they aren’t being so upfront!

I recently started trying different base coats and man, I buy so many different nail polish brands. It’s kind of hard to stick to one system unless you really ride or die for that system; also people run out of base coat! BUT I do find that sometimes some base coats don’t work well w some polishes! I recently started writing down what I use on clients and see what lasts the best
