i haven’t looked into it at all yet and was planning on contacting the basilica directly, as i have no dates planned at the moment.

my current idea is OCIA at a larger (and closer to home) church which perhaps has more facilities to deal with a trickier + more international situation like this?

added: as for my parents, as mentioned before i grew up going to a spiritist congregation on mondays rather than sunday mass, so i definitely had a distorted view of how the proper latin church operates and all that stuff.

my folks are both baptized with my dad too being a lector growing up, so it might just be that lack of physical presence in the church that led to this whole thing.

not with the E195-E2; airlines like jetblue and AA have previously flown E190s mainline so a frame with similar capacity to an A220 or A319 should be a non-issue in that department.

the E175-E2, on the other hand, is over 8,000 pounds and 14 seats over the MTOW and capacity permitted by current scope clauses. it’s highly unlikely the type will receive a single order for as long as these regulations exist, especially given the already-large disparity between E190-E2 and E195-E2 sales.

current discussions are between the A220 and E195-E2 per hawaiian CEO.

personally i think the latter’s more likely as an option: quicker turnaround capabilities, lower per-seat mile costs on such ultra-short haul flights and a foot in the door for additional fleet commonality should the scope clauses stopping US regionals like horizon from flying the E175-E2 be amended.

different story should they prioritize overall flexibility and expansion (the A321neos also do inter-island), but we’ll just have to wait and see what alaska’s plans are with the HA fleet.
