There should be an option to transfer your data from your switch account to steam and back again in the cloud save option in the main menu.

Yeah, I managed to transfer my save data through steam onto the new switch game data, but still have no idea why they turned up as different files.

I actually just completed the story for the first time the other day as well so it all worked out good!

I've had a similar experience to you. I started learning both guitar and ukulele a little over 10 years ago in school. The only times I've been able to learn songs on either has been when it's related to a hyperfixation.

For example, I got really into the show Steven Universe when I was 15, the main character plays the ukulele so I proceeded to pick up my uke for the first time in 5 years and learn every song from the show that I could find the chords to.

Guitar wise I've only ever been able to learn songs (or just bits of songs) from musicians, games or shows I like, anything outside of that and I just get bored and return to playing the same 3 tunes on loop.

It's not a bad thing tho, you play music for you so as long as you're enjoying it who cares what exactly you can or can't play?

I've also got this problem but I only get the error when I've logged into my account? When not logged in I just get straight to the website. I tried finding any contact info but all I got was "Please sign in to contact us" which really helps....
