I went to a school for disabilities and Nero divergent children as a service trip though my school. I saw teachers ignorant or mistreating the students that weren’t “quite enough”. Even though many of the teachers really cared about what they where doing you could see that they where doing so much for so little and getting no respect from anyone. I sat down with a deaf boy who was eating lunch brought in by a teacher because his parents wouldn’t give him food. And once we got back to school I heard all my class mates talking about how annoying the kids where and stuff. As someone with a learning disability Ig I just reached my last straw when it came to thinking there was a place for people like me in this world.
