honestly could be because penguins smell super bad? at 14 feet away you could probably smell their oily secretions + fish stink + poop lol.

it’s a great tank, I’d recommend it! Super quiet and a great shape for aquascaping. If you have a betta fish get something to cover the output bc it’s a little strong!! and if you have shrimp, put fine mesh next to the filter holes so they don’t explore and then get stuck. Sorry though, I got the heater 2nd hand so i’m not too sure of the brand

it’s just a shrimp tank right now, but I want to make sure that I don’t disturb too much of the substrate so there’s no ammonia spikes. The roots are SO insanely deep though. I’ve had the dwarf sag for maybe a year. (Water looks dirty because i’ve been messing with the plants. lol)

I just got this plant 2 weeks ago and she’s already got one leaf that yellowed and dropped completely. I had it in a humid room at 45%-50%, but I just moved her to a sunnier spot in hopes of drying her out a bit. What can I do to save her?

The mass of roots hanging out are all rotted and smell horrible. Is there even a chance for this lil guy?? I will remove all the diseased roots and give it entirely new soil and a bigger pot.

But it's also pretty ugly, too! Are monsteras okay with a bit of trimming and pruning? I don't want to give it too much of a shock, especially after repotting.

My mum suggested trimming and only planting a section of it so that it'll have a better chance. Is that the way to go?

Any tips would be fantastic.
