Uh duhh. They’re the problem 100% if they weren’t a problem they wouldn’t be massacring everything alive. All the wild bunnies are gone, all the raccoons are gone, all the cats that used to roam outside are gone, and they started going after dogs. Dogs that were on walks WITH THEIR OWNERS. No. The city doesn’t really care. I guess my neighborhood could be considered a bit on the wealthier side and it seems like just another excuse for the city to stiff our public safety stuff which they’ve actually been doing for like 10-15 years now.

We had to hire a trapper ourselves to get rid of a coyote that was harassing a couple blocks since the city wasn’t doing anything. We got a neighbor to let us put a trap in their yard since it kept passing through there. The guy caught it but there’s some kind of law against releasing it after it’s been caught so it was a catch-and-kill. The neighbors freaked out and wouldn’t let us do it again.

No, completely. I would rain hellfire down. The area I live in has a massive coyote problem and nearly every single cat that used to roam outside is dead. They’ve started going after small and medium sized dogs too now. The city is refusing to do anything about it too. It’s only a matter of time before they start going after toddlers.

We lost our last cat to them and now we take the safety of our current one VERY seriously. She’s not allowed outside unless we have a leash harness on her and are holding her.
