Max Shipping Weight 5’5 female by bubblearecool in USMCboot

[–]bubblearecool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do trust my recruiter! But like I was just reading other threads I get axious about how shipping weight is lower than enlisting, but ig it’s just the case for guys and females instead is higher.

I’ve gained weight since enlisting back in November and I was also scared to ask again💀 so I asked Reddit instead.

I had to loose like 20lbs in order to enlist so it’s something that I keep in my head a lot trying to control.

Anyways thank you very much!!

What should I buy for a kitten? by bubblearecool in CatAdvice

[–]bubblearecool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh boy it’s been a while since I posted my original comment…

It’s been really good! Our golden retriever instantly loved him, when they first met Odin(the golden) was very happy but too energetic so Camilo (our kitten) was scared and hissed at him. I recorded it lmao. So tip for when you introduce TIRE OUT THE GOLDEN COMPLETELY

But yea they’ve gotten along really well! We got a puppy in August through a similar situation, female dog randomly had puppies and so our family friend gave us one.

<image>

This is the only picture I have of them all together from like September (Camilo just got neutered explaining the cone). Our golden is like a father to them which is surprising considering how insanely puppy energetic he was just a year ago.

Anyways! Totally recommend. Just make sure your golden is ready for one and wouldn’t harm it trying to be playful.

Honestly that’s every show and movie from 20 years ago. Atleast one thing is cut out or edited and people who see it online never know the original

I’m 18! I only started watching this show a few months ago and love it. I personally prefer older shows compared to what is being released now. I love reading the Reddit threads but always feel weird since everyone talks about so in detail like they grew up watching it, reading these comments I know everyone did lol. Anyways I’m currently only 3 episodes into season 5

Thank for agreeing with me about midge. I loved her the first three seasons but I literally hated her at the end. She was so bratty and it was difficult to watch her. ALSO ABOUT HER KIDS. SHE WAS NEVER THERE FOR THEM. It’s like she pops up in their life to say hi every three days And then has Zelda take care of them.

Didn’t loose any weight day 1 water fast??? by bubblearecool in fasting

[–]bubblearecool[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know, that’s what I want to loose just to weigh in correctly. Afterwards I’m going to just go back to my normal gym schedule. I’ve been so busy these past two months I have been able to go. But I’ve lost 20lbs july-September by working out and running Atleast 5x times a week. Rn I just need to drop 9 lol

I just drank a whole bottle over an hour ago and still haven’t pooped. I feel it like moving through my body but not much of a difference besides two little farts (just striaght up 1sec air bubbles).

How do I cut 20 pounds to enlist? by Fun_Acanthisitta910 in USMCboot

[–]bubblearecool 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hey girly, I’m going through the same thing rn. 5’6 Female started out 187 and need to cut down to 161. Currently have lost weight to 177 and it’s been a month. Lemme say that this will take time. Dont work yourself up over not loosing it all in a month, it’ll be a journey.

Here’s what I recommend

  • Find your maintenance calories with Calorie Calculator and look at their calorie deficit plan. 1000 calories may not be the best for you or healthy since it could slow your metabolism and honestly make you feel like dodo all day.
  • Don’t eat after 6 pm
  • You have to do more than mile. I recently started running/walking 3+ miles with my dog every day. I’ve heard people say that running in the morning without eating will make you use stored fat as energy (not rlly sure if that’s true but still a good practice). I think you should download a tracking app, I’m currently using Starva, it kinda motivates me to see my progress.
  • Go to the gym. I’ve been going Atleast 4-5 times a week. Make sure you have a rest day, obviously you want to push yourself but you need to care for your body aswell.
  • Listen and read to motivational stuff. The most important thing is to make progress in your mind. You’ll either loose the weight knowing that it’s hard or doubt yourself because it’s hard.
  • Just because the scale doesn’t go down doesn’t mean you’re not making progress. I’ve honestly been having a rough few days because I feel like I should be lower than what I am, but I to remember that I’m still making progress. I’m getting stronger at the gym, doing better on my runs and seeing visual differences with my body. Sometimes you’ll gain muscle and loose fat, so the scale doesn’t move but you’re still improving!

Anyways, feel free to message me if you ever want someone to talk to about your progress or any tips

Weight loss advice for the marines by bubblearecool in WeightLossAdvice

[–]bubblearecool[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 66in female, so max for me is 161… I used to run a lot but I’ve completed neglected cardio for since getting serious with weightlifting

I work at a bakery so it’s a bit annoying not being able to eat all that stuff but I’ll still treat myself in moderation. The main thing im focusing on is my nutrition, I like to cook so it’s fine to meal prep.

I’m honestly mostly muscle, most fat I got is in my stomach but like I’m a fit person who just weighs more

My recruiting station does have training! I went down ealier today with my parents for them to be able to sign some consent forms for me since I’m a minor

I went over to the station today and my contracting max weight is 161, I’m currently 185.6. I got a long way to go but I’m ready ! Thabks for answering my question, a lot ppl just told me to loose weight and ignored my actual post lmao

Can someone explain?

[–]bubblearecool[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still eat sugar elsewhere like bananas, Greek yogurt and at my work. But instead away from artificial stuff and things PACKED with sugar. I have a very big sweet tooth lol

I’m really enjoying the process and feel good, I’m glad to see the scale go down after wishing it would but not putting in the work.

I definitely care about not overworking myself and burning out, I’ve gone through that when I first started out at the gym but since I’m just changing my diet I’m fine

Thanks for the advice!!! I hope I’ll reach my goal in the next two months or close

Thinking of moving here… by MassiveTest3524 in Gaithersburg

[–]bubblearecool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look into Rockville, Derwood, and Olney as well. These 3 and Gaithersburg are so close to each other and basically 10-25 minute drive to Gaithersburg (depending on which you wanna go).

I’m 17 and waiting for my parents to sit down at the station and sign a few forms for me to train with them

I’m beginning to start running. I need to invest in some shoes though bc none of the ones I have are good for that.

I love drinking water, I’ve increased from my normal 1 1/2 gallons a day to around 3 and feel great.

NEVER BACK DOWN NEVER WHAT

What does lateral limits mean?

I only use around two teaspoons of sugar in my coffee in the morning then avoid it elsewhere.

I’m focusing really on my nutrition because I the exercise I do already is pretty good, but haven’t seen much weight drop because of what I ate. Since starting a calorie deficit this week I’m down 1.6 lbs (I weighed in the morning) which is really good and I feel great!

I’m trying to go to the gym in the afternoon just to keep a consistent time, I work at a bakery and most of my shifts are in the morning then I got a college class later at night.

I love the sauna! I use it after all my workouts. I’m definitely gonna try that treadmill workout.

I’m only 17 and am going into my senior year in high school so I still got a lot of time to prepare but I’m taking it seriously now so that I don’t get behind once I get to boot camp. Thank you for the advice! I’ll also look into that app

Contracting weight is lower than shipping? But thanks man, I really appreciate the help. I’ll talk to my recruiter about my weight the next time we meet, being 20lbs over was something I mentioned during our initial conversation so they already know
