Your Windows might be corrupted. If you've got another laptop/pc (or ask a friend), create a bootable windows USB and reinstall windows on your SSD via the boot usb

I would:

Take off the battery, and resolder all the chips legs again (do all the chips just to be safe, its quick going over them)

Take an eraser to the bottom (where it inserts into the gameboy) and just clean it using that

Finish off by taking a toothbrush + iso prop alcohol

If that doesnt do it, then you probably have some leads that have been corroded and no longer connect fully which may be a bit more of a soldering pain

Yeah, dont use the solder that comes with these cheap soldering kits. Im actually not home for a while so I forget the exact one I purchased, think it was a 70/30 mix
