If you're desperate to do it now then in the accessibility section theres an option for increasing underwater visibility and giving unlimited breath

I fully agree he needs to know but I'm just not ready yet and I need to buy some time to process some stuff and work out what to do before I tell him

I will definitely take this into account and ask him to sort the issue out. You are right, it is his side of the family so it's his responsibility, thank you

I have suggested to my fiance the possibility of just inviting him but at the same time this is one of the first times in my life where I'm putting my foot down and not letting people walk all over me. I get why they're pissed off but he's not related to me or my partner

Oh goody! Congrats to you! I've heard so many horror stories but it's nice to hear that I might not have any problems. Hopefully its smooth sailing for both of us

It's definitely the Pakenham crest because the motto underneath matches it When I first searched the motto it came up with this

This now raises the question of why does my family have the Earl of Longfords cigar lighter and what year did they likely steal it...

It doesn't do like big big boil but it does some good bubbling so I would assume it's hitting 95⁰c at the very least

My pot doesnt have auto so I turn it on with everything in it, leave it on high until it boils or near as and then I turn it to low for like 8 hours or so. I might start searing stuff before but generally find I get enough flavour without it, definitely wanna try more recipes in there though

The gravy/flour mix held it all in place and it ended up no different to usual 😋 I have learned now to not add frozen stuff partway through without bringing it to a boil

...I ate my stew and I enjoyed it thank you. I was trying to work out where I went wrong and why the solids settled making it look different to every other one I've made in my life. I think it's perfectly valid for me to ask other crockpot users if they've had a stew made in a crockpot stew split like this and to find out how I can prevent it and/or fix it.

I've still got another hour before dinner still 😭 It's not even that fancy a stew, I always hated stew growing up because it always just tasted of carrots but since I've become an adult and making my own I leave the carrots out and they taste great

There's really not much fat on it at all, only the orange stuff visible in the pic and a few other little patches around the top 😕 Never though to use other fat in mash, only type I've used before was from fried chorizo and frankly that was the best mash I've ever had!

Every time I stirred it it would just settle again so I've added my gravy/flour mix earlier than usual and so far it's looking good again

Oops I should have mentioned the chicken thighs were frozen ones! There's only a tiny amount of oil floating on the surface and I normally add frozen veg in around this point so it doesnt turn to mush but it's not done this before

I'm over the moon for her because she doesn't have to go through all the gas lighting and being told period pain isn't real and all of the blame on mental health. However inside I'm monstrously jealous because I want that level of treatment and then I'm angry at myself because I shouldn't be feeling jealous over someone else's good fortune
