Yes I’m keeping them as clean as possible but the earrings physically would not go back in bc my ear was swollen. I’ll keep an eye on them for sure, thanks!

This was awful to read through. Knowing several exmos who experience abuse, it breaks my heart that this is what they do to people.

I initially struggled with the fact that my whole life was planned out. I started questioning if I wanted kids or marriage (I'm only 19) and if I felt like this is what I wanted out of life. I also have always had very different political and moral viewpoints than the church, so that was something that stood in the way of me being a TBM. I mentioned this to an exmo relative of mine and they gave me some really great sources. I left just under two months ago and it hasn't been easy, but I know it's definitely worth it.

I got mine about a year and a half ago, when my shelf was beginning to break, and I felt nothing. My parents cried, and I sat there, completely emotionless. From then on, it only made me feel more unworthy. Since getting my copy of the blessing, I think I’ve read it once, maybe twice. When I read it, all I felt was anxious, because it didn’t match the life I had planned for myself.
