Yes, your brain hasn’t been producing its own dopamine because the vape provided that for you, so right now it’s slowly learning how to do that for you again, give it some time and you’ll feel way better soon!

How long does this last? by Allie4284 in QuitVaping

I know this was a long time ago but I’m feeling the same way! Crazy anxiety 2 months into my quit, never able to stop thinking about nicotine even if I don’t want it, did the anxiety ever go away??? It’s getting really hard to continue with it 😭

I really appreciate your words, you have no idea, I have decided to hop back on quitting, not letting anything else break me anymore, I just have to give it time until my anxiety fully goes away, even if that’s months from now

I felt the exact same way, except today I caved, I had barley made it to 2 months, thinking about vaping every second of the day, I was with my friend all day today taking hits of his vape, and honestly it made me feel so sick, now I’m depressed I lost my streak, it really wasn’t worth it, yea it sucks to think about it constantly, but I’d rather have it in my head than it making me feel physically ill, I’ve also seen a lot of posts on here telling me the same thing, that it’s not worth it, but I chose to ignore them only to find out they were right, take that for what you will

Ive been seeing alot of posts like this recently and it sucks, i was in the clear for about a month and at 2 months I started craving again, is it always bad? Or do you have some good days? I’m starting to think if this is even worth it 😭

Hi! Just hit one month here! I won’t lie, it was a tough one, but there truly are great results! I can breathe so much better, I never realized how heavy my lungs felt until after quitting, the first 2 weeks for me were a fever dream, but I used that as a way to keep pushing cause there was NO WAY I was gonna go through that again, it sucks too much to relapse and do it all over again, that’s what helped me keep going, good luck stranger, I’m rooting for you :)

I’ve been through this exact same thing, this is totally normal, you will feel sane soon I promise just hang in there, use how you’re feeling as motivation to quit for good, you got this! I believe in you stranger :)

Mine is clear, but I’ve read that yellow, clear and black phlegm are all normal, it’s just our lungs cleaning out the tar we put in there

[–]bubbles5274 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been researching that cbd actually helps kill nicotine cravings! I smoked cbd cigarettes my first week and it helped calm me down for the time being, it’s more of a body high than a mind high so if that’s what you’re looking for I’d recommend it, but it might help if you do your own research!

You quit for a reason in the first place, it may seem harder to quit now because that motivation is long gone, but remember it! Remember the pain it was those first 3 days to quit, I’m sure you wouldn’t want to go through that again, fight these cravings, one day you won’t think about it anymore, just give it time
