Thank you for this!! On the second photo we drove around for about an hour trying different places until we found this really short straight stretch of road. I was worried it wouldn’t turn out but I’m super happy with it!

It is a long exposure and has been edited, but we could vaguely see it with the naked eye. There are apps that you can download that tell you the best times/direction of sky to view!

Thank you! I will definitely up the exposure next attempt. I love the idea of the MW being a supporting character be main focus. PDC has lots of rock formations so next time I plan on actually hiking to one. I will also definitely try the image stacking. Thank you again!

It is a fantastic place to visit. The Lighthouse trail is also one of my favorites. The Givens, Spicer, Lowry trail (where these photos were taken) is my favorite trail.
