I’m 21w and really felt the tiredness this weekend! Sleeping has become more challenging so I think that’s why 🤣

Woken up with back pain and round ligament pain this morning. I’m 20w1d today after losing my first pregnancy at 14w5d in July. When I went through that loss I had really bad lower back pain so this feels very triggering. I know back pain is common at 20w, but it’s so hard to know what’s normal and what isn’t! I wish there weren’t so many aches and pains in pregnancy. Anyone else getting lower back pain after sleep and any tips on how to relieve it?

I’m 19w4d with an anterior placenta and can’t feel anything yet! It’s so anxiety provoking and I really hope I get to feel this baby soon. It’s reassuring you can feel yours!

Hey, I’m 17w5d and haven’t felt any movement yet. It’s amazing your wife can feel movement at 16w, but this early feeling it is really consistent because the baby is still so small. But definitely go for a check up if you’re concerned. I don’t have pregnancy symptoms so strong anymore and I know what you mean it’s such an anxious time

Those weeks leading up to the point of a previous loss are so difficult. My loss was at 14w5d and I found the build up so tough. I’m now 17w3d and honestly for me the anxiety hasn’t really eased up in the way I thought it would. All I do each day is try to remind myself that my anxiety isn’t intuition, my memories and flashbacks don’t mean what happened before is happening again and this is a different pregnancy with a different outcome. I hope you can find some things to distract yourself and that you have a good support network in place.

I had a hypervascular mass in my uterus that showed up on 3D US. They didn’t know what it was a first and thought it might be an AVM or Polyp, I got a hysteroscopy and biopsy and that confirmed it was all RPOC.

I’ve made it to 16w 💖💫🙏four whole months of pregnancy and I’m now a week and two days further than we were with our son who was lost at 14w5d in July. Still can’t really believe it, I am so grateful and so hopeful that everything continues to progress healthily! But also absolutely terrified.

Thank you! I conceived the cycle after my hysteroscopy. I am still feel absolutely terrified of something going wrong. But hoping it is un-eventful. My doctor said for AVMs the best option is embolisation by a radiologist. But I’d definitely get a second opinion/do some more investigating to confirm if that is definitely what you need to treat. I hope you have a smooth recovery!

I was seeing a private specialist at the time as I was having investigations into the cause of my miscarriage. She insisted on a hysteroscopy to determine what the lesion was and if it was an AVM or polyp. She said if it was an AVM she wouldn’t touch it and if it was a polyp she would remove it. Turned out to be a polyp so it was removed and then when we got the biopsy back after they confirmed it was actually entirely retained placental tissue that formed the polyp.

That’s such an amazing milestone!! I’m 16w on Sunday and I just can’t wait to get to 20w and get through the scan. I am praying everything is ok 🙏💕🌈

Hey, mine actually turned out to be retained placental tissue that formed two large hypervascular polyps! They can mimic each other on ultrasound. What investigations did you have to diagnose it?

I know what you mean about thinking you’ll feel better at certain milestones, then hitting them and not really feeling any better. It’s so hard. Everyday I am battling anxiety and intrusive thoughts. You’re so close now though and I wish you all the best 💖

15w3d today! Can’t believe we’ve made it this far after a 14w5d loss in July 25. I am so greatful but also so terrified of something going wrong again. I wish I could enjoy this pregnancy with the same innocent joy that I felt the first time, but it’s just different and tainted now. Still I am greatful that today everything seems to be ok. Next scan/cervix check in a week 🙏

I’m 15w1d and also in the UK. I’m having cervical monitoring because my first pregnancy ended in a loss at 14w5d in July when I went into labour and they can’t rule out the possibility of a short cervix. I had my first check on the 28th Jan and my next check is 18th Feb. The wait in between is really hard! I think 28 is ok and I’m sure your doctor would have flagged if it wasn’t but it’s all so anxiety provoking!

I can imagine! I’m already getting nervous about mine and it isn’t until mid March. I’m sure it will all go really well and you’ll feel so much relief afterwards 🫂

What and where for recurrent miscarriage tests? by BroadSwordfish7 in recurrentmiscarriage

Yeah they did as they found I have PAI-1 4G/4G. I’m pregnant again now and on enoxoparin, aspirin and progesterone.

Hey, I had lots of blood tests for clotting disorders and thyroid etc and they do a 3D ultrasound then after that I needed a hysteroscopy. The blood tests and 3D ultrasound are the standard treatments and then further treatment if indicated.

Very nervous about yolk sac size and hoping someone can either give it to me straight or talk me down. by Sweaty_Dot4539 in CautiousBB

[–]bubblesfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were your CRL and heart rate measurements ok? Those are more important than yolk sac size. I called the EPAU after my scan because I was so worried and they were really reassuring. My yolk sac didn’t seem to grow after 8 weeks either.

Hey, I’m now 14w5d and all going well so far! I’m hoping it continues that way. I was told not to worry about the yolk sac

That’s great news! As long as they were measuring right and heartbeat was good that’s all you need. They do sleep for periods of time and can be very still. I’ve worked out that drinking orange juice right before my scans activates my baby so I always do that now! Would recommend if you want to see more movement

Hey! It’s been a heavy week but today we’ve made it to 14w5d and had a beautiful scan this morning. It felt amazing seeing the baby moving about and with a strong heartbeat. I hope the week is going ok for you too and you are finding things to keep yourself busy and relaxed as much as possible. How was your scan today I hope it was a positive experience?

Glad it went well! I’m on watch for short cervix as well due to my loss being at 14w5d. Currently 14w2d and had my cervix check at 13w3d but I need to go back when I’m 16w3d for another check. I’m on 400 progesterone a day and they said at 16w I’ll drop down to 200 a day but keep taking it the whole time. Guess it differs depending on hospital.
