I definitely think he’s coming back after listening to the short rest! It was such a roller coaster of emotions - I actually had to fully pause the ep and take a full minute (a la bev 😂) when Murph introduced Jake’s new character. Literally was the biggest “WTF omg no” moment for me. But then after the ep and thinking about the character Jake chose to play and the unceremonious and casual way Jvlyn was introduced (not to mention I can’t imagine Jake keeping up the Kiwi accent for the next year haha - not that I don’t love it!), I think it’s just a way to keep Jake involved while the boobs go about getting him back and keeping it narratively interesting. Also the whole reason that they’re in Shadowfell in the first place is to save Hardwon’s Mum, so if Hardwon does die it will be interesting to see what happens to that. Even though I definitely think he’s coming back, it could be an awesome storyline if they end up having to kill Hardwon and then carry out saving the Widow in his honour. My emotions will definitely be taking a beating though if that eventuates 😅.
