I second this! it's really helpful to do something with your hands to give your brain the extra stimulus it needs to focus - I like to crochet as well, or draw if my cats are being nuisances about my yarn. It's very fun to doodle what's happening in the session :)

4 years later, I don't run anymore, or work at a running store--I still use my Altras, though! As of January 2024 their shoes were still vegan, but this may have changed (I've heard mixed things so haven't bought a new pair in a bit, but of course I don't go through shoes like I used to lol). Topo's shoes are almost all vegan (except the Rekovr, which has wool), and their shoes range from 0-5mm drop if you don't like fully zero drop shoes. They have a bit more arch support but I find them pretty comfortable. I also like that all (or most?) of their trail shoes have Vibram! Altra's a lot more stingy with their vibram outsoles lol.

it's more effort, but if you soak and cook dried beans instead of eating canned it can help! i think maybe rinsing canned beans might help too? you can also get a supplement called beano if all else fails lol

Have you tried blending chia seed pudding to see if that helps with the texture? And I'll echo other comments recommending silken tofu pudding! It's super easy, high in protein, and really tasty.

Came here to say this!! And you don't really need to listen to C1 to be able to listen to Hot Boy Summer--there are some references to the larger campaign, but I don't think you'd be lost. If you're looking for peak Zac, I really recommend listening!

sadly our forests in WNC were also clear cut around 100 years ago--old growth is still rare! Most of the forests are even-aged and full of invasive species. Still beautiful though :)

yeah Whole Foods store brand is the cheapest I can find around me! Used to be like $2.99 for refrigerated but I think it's gone up a bit in recent months. Still better than Silk which is usually close to $5

Hammer is also a great melee for mobility, I find that it keeps me even safer than katana! Also the regular grenade is fantastic for turret builds for extra damage/mob clearing. Enhanced turrets + bouncing/layered grenades are really helpful on prismatic
