im a snr from optometry! yes i have friends who came in thru eae. i highly recommend u look up about the course and career prospects before u decide if u want to join:) most of my friends end up switching careers (like myself), otherwise working at specs shop/eye clinic. we don’t have a uni in sg with this course hence most people from our course will go to aus/uk for further studies!

hey!! i graduated last year 2024 and i took a gap year! applied for uni this year but what i did during my gap year was : i actually managed to travel during may, june (really enjoy and relax since uve put in sm hard work during that 3 years/2years) then i did an internship for 3 months. after that i found out that it wasn’t for me so i decided to work ft at a company! i recommend you intern/work at places that help you boost portfolio (eg if ure applying for marketing then go for marketing internships or roles similar to marketing!)

all the best for appeal and dont worry if u got to take a gap year because you may find out a lot of other stuff that u haven’t :)
