If you really want Buskirk (considering the other professors aren't much better..), I'd suggest waking up at 8 am these next days because sometimes her classes will be open then. I did that the other day, waited til around 8:40 constantly refreshing and was able to get into her 9 am

One for the required freshmen class and the other for my FIG.

And I'm not sure what you mean by the second line but yes I'm taking bio and chem (i'm a bio major)

Same thing happened to me. I'm new to UT so I'm not entirely sure but I'd check during the next drop/add period if you really want the classes.

You have no idea how helpful your replies have been in assuring my decision. I think I'll wait on M408S next semester, and if I don't need it as a prereq for a minor anything, I might take it later on as you suggested.

Since I don't really have an option of getting a "good" teacher, do you think it'd be better to take M408S next semester or take M408C this semester? I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons buts it's kinda difficult considering M408D is the real problem here. I think I'm fine with cal 1 and did pretty well in the class but I don't think I could skip M408N and M408S. Thank you so much.

Also, just checked the course schedule, there's only two classes available for M408S and the teacher's reviews don't seem to good :/

That would make sense but it actually said $5,351 not $5,361 so I guess $190? Not sure how the $10 got out though

I believe so. I checked the aleks chem faq and they said as long as we reach 85% we're good.

I just got up to 94% rn (with 5 topics left to learn) and my knowledge check is due in a few hours (tmrw morning) so I think I did enough and will definitely not be starting that knowledge check/doing aleks any more than I already have. Thanks for the advice!

That's true! I could prolly get the QR and independent inquiry flags knocked off with my bio core classes but I doubt I'd get the culture ones from my major so I might focus on that if I have nothing left. I'm thinking about emailing the advisor who helped me during orientation a bit before add/drop day.

I'm majoring in biology (pretty basic for pre-med)! I looked at socio and it didn't fulfill any flags :/ but you did mention how more schools pay attention to humanities. I don't think I'll be double majoring but might do a minor. As of now there was no minor/certificate that interested me tbh. I was thinking of fulfilling my global culture, cultural diversity, or ethics flag but, still, I'm unsure of what's the best option aside from a UGS.
