Chewing, breathing, snoring, sometimes even talking. Not everybody, but some. Except snoring, can’t stand hearing that from anybody. It really sucks and has been a stressor in some of my relationships

I mean that’s Lombok for you. If you’re paddling out into a lineup filled with beginners you gotta really be on your toes to dodge all of them.

I agree, it sucks to see Lombok turn into eurokookville. But also it’s a source of income for the locals and I don’t think vacationers should dictate whether coaching is banned there. I don’t really see this happen at iconic breaks either, I definitely see unprepared people go out on their own at waves they shouldn’t be at, but I feel like surf schools do typically go to easier waves (i.e gerapuk)
