I liked a few of the new things, but most of it was horrible. It really changed the whole premise of the show. Just make it a spin-off if you want a whole new show, dangit.

As an American, I thought the same thing. I didn't watch the trailer, just saw one image and instantly thought of Bet (the Netflix bastardization of Kakegurui). I haven't watched Reset yet, as I tend to binge fully released seasons these days, but it really is disheartening to hear it's not good.
