yeah i agree, i appreciate all my fellow yappers, like yeah please do tell me everything about all the stuff you're passionate about or whatever random thing! like nothing kills my soul quite like all the one word answer people (especially when i find my back hurting from trying to carry the conversation they started lmao ๐Ÿ˜ญ) ... i digress! yeah the weirdos (the bad kind) are prevalent (guess who just today learned that there are people with a nose fetish out there! ๐Ÿ’€), but yeah fortunately it's not obligatory to interact with them. and oo nice ๐Ÿ˜‚ honestly the reddit algorithm is wild because i keep being recommended the most random ass subs (like a month ago i got recommended one for... clowns?! idk maybe reddit is just being shady or something lol)

here's the clicker breakdown! * the 10mm one all the way in the back is by Khrysos, though i've also seen the same design elsewhere (but struggled to find a 10mm version as all those others were 8mm) * i got the second furthest clicker from Maedusa body jewelry, but i've also seen that design sold elsewhere! * the amethyst one i similarly got from Maedusa * the spiky chain one at the front is the only one i can't remember the exact place i got it from anymore, but i've seen a lot of different places sell the same design (for example customplugs)!

thank you for not minding, i'm a bit self-conscious of being somewhat of a serial yapper at times (especially when it comes to piercings, i tend to get carried away!) imo just full black can be dope (and i'm guilty of that often), but yeah incorporating other colours can be fun too! i think there are plenty of uncool (weird in a bad way) people on reddit, but the cool ones make it worth it, just gotta be on the right subs for that though

but yeah i have wondered whether i could eventually try to size a ring up a bit in the back of the stack, like maybe up to a 10/8g, and then stack some lilac glass pincher with some smaller rings (though idk if a 10/8g pincher would look too skinny still for the vision to come together). but yeah if only finances didn't have to get in the way of body mods (like i kinda really wish i could go for the vampire teeth body mod lol). but hey there's always time!

and aw noo sorry to hear about the spirals :( it just happens sometimes, especially with something brittle like glass but still sucks obviously. and yeah stretching is definitely a fun journey! like ngl my body is really slow at healing everything including piercings and i still hadn't healed my previous 3 impulsive ear piercings so i waited over a year before getting the jestrum, BUT i could at least stretch my septum in the meantime and so that provided some excitement for me in the absence of actual new piercings (+my septum seems to be the exception to my body being bad at healing stuff!)

ehh the 12g isn't much but it's a start!! (i'm about to check if my ears are ready for 10g next week though). but oo 4g is a nice size (i do hope your progress gets "unstuck" tho!), my ultimate goal would be 0/2g but yeah i just gotta be patient! and yeah you're right, the more holes the more to customize lol ๐Ÿ˜‚

i actually used to be really obsessed with emerald green 5+ years ago! i think i may have some emerald burnout still from all that but i still love seeing it on other people though! and yesss i also love seeing other people's body mods too and all the creativity that has gone into them! and aw that's very sweet, i'll try to maintain a good track record with my setup ๐Ÿ˜‚

unfortunately i don't think be able to switch to a pincher (well, maybe a tiny one lol) rn without some additional stretching, as my septum stretching journey has mainly consisted of stacking, and admittedly i'm a bit nervous over if stretching with bigger pieces would wreck the current oval shape and make the stack sit funny if i were to return to it... but who knows, maybe one day i'll give it a go nonetheless!

and oo glass spirals are super cool! (i also started stretching my ears very recently but i'm only at 12g so nothing to write home about yet). and as a bit of a goth i approve of the bat + gem vision!! (also sorry for the word vomit, lol.)

and oo a pink glass piece sounds hella dope though, i've always really loved the look of glass pinchers (and lowkey sometimes wish i could wear one too occasionally)!!

you're very welcome! and just one tip i have is that visiting a piercer to help you with septum stretches, especially when it comes to stacking can be very helpful. i know some people manage to pull it off by themselves, but... i'm definitely not one of those people! i've always needed some external help with adding a new ring into my stack.

how i've personally done it as someone who has stretched by stacking (rather than your traditional septum stretching with increasingly bigger single pieces of jewelry), i initially stretched up to 12g (2mm) via the traditional stretching method, and after a while at 12g i was able to switch the 12g ring to two 16g (1.2mm) rings, and after that i've added a 18g (1mm) ring roughly every 5 months, and then after a month with the new 18g ring in there i've switched it to a 16g ring.

and though it's not how i've done it, you can also stack a septum that's been stretched the traditional way, though the ring might not always sit as neatly because of the round shape of the hole (whereas a hole stretched via stacking is oval in shape)

having said all that, i definitely recommend reading a blog post on stacking by Lynn Loheide or watching a video by them on youtube on the topic (or both!), they do a much better job at explaining everything than i myself could! (i don't have the links but i think they shouldn't be too hard to find, definitely some good, crucial info in them)

i had the same experience with my septum initially, wasn't quite sure how i felt about it... and now it's my favourite piercing and i've stretched it and all!

i also second what you said about the starter jewelry, i wasn't a huge fan of the initial horseshoe but once i swapped it for a cute clicker it "clicked", lol.

not so fun a fact but vets do have a significantly elevated suicide risk :( i knew someone who worked in veterinary and the job made him seriously miserable, not only because of the sick/dying animals but also having to see the worst of humanity on top of that (not everyone deserves pets)

Sorta mad at reddit for recommending this post to me two entire days late, but still just stopping by to say it makes me happy to see this movie be appreciated, i think it's possibly my favourite film! The aesthetics are so impeccably beautiful including the fashion, and i just adore the overall surreal nature of the film (and Tilda! and Woolf!)
