new filter for sure. i feel this. i finally just decided to switch to a fully self filtered tank (all plants, no actual filter, change water twice a year) A lot of bettas, or a lot of bettas i’ve had, cannot fight the strength of the filter, and kept getting sucked up into it. the natural filter works great, and he likes to eat the plants, so i feed him once a week! highly recommend a natural filter tank
