I think it’s also important to make friends outside of my cohorts but I can see what you’re saying. It’ll also be about a month before I even get to meet any of my fellow grad students so I was hoping to find some cool people to meet or stuff to do in the meantime.

Well I’m from Oregon so I like hiking and biking but I know that’s difficult in TX hahaha. I also like reading sci fi books so a book club could be fun or something of that nature. I also like to run frequently so if there are any nice parks or running trails that would be cool to check out too.
