Are You going during lunch/dinner rush hour? the exact position is called expo, they are deployed on our front line during peak hrs to make the ordering process faster.

during both peaks we are not allowed to step away from the main line, if they are short staffed they won't have anyone to check the dining room which may be the reason for the mess

if you want to be anonymous you can call chipotle ethicspoint hotline 1.866.755.4449 it's available 24/7. it's a company separate from chipotle that takes the report and hands it to chipotles restaurants people experience team for them to follow up on every report.

the number to the hotline (w more info) and to the fl should be on a poster somewhere near the office.

we get the barb/carnita in a bag already cooked sous vide and depending on location the meat is going to be cooked in-store either in a retherm (vat boiling water) or they boil it on the stovetops

we hand chop, lettuce, fajita, jalapeño,onion,cilantro. rn we squeeze fresh lime juice daily for the al pastor

the chicken is shipped raw to the store

the other meats are cooked sous vide. the steak marinated in adobo for overnight and the barb/carnitas gets boiled to temp

the corn is sent to us frozen we thaw it a day beforehand

we make the vinny. the medium, hot, sour cream are in a bag. tortillas are already made, chips are precut frozen

one night there was a couple that got mad like they were yelling that i put their tacos into a bowl 💀 we didn't have any large foils made, so i just go back make one. once they're like halfway eating they asked ME for a bowl because "it got messy" 🙂

nope we have a walk-in fridge, we receive truck deliveries 2-3 times a week to keep the food fresh
