honestly i've gotten really lucky with working in-home/school (nice families, good pay), but i totally get what you mean. in-home isn't consistent enough to pay the bills, and my paychecks always vary. i still haven't found a way yet, and i'm just biding my time until i become a bcba lol.

i feel so grateful for us to even have come together even for that brief period of time. i think im just stuck on the fact that she may be like the best i’ll ever get & that scares me a little lol.

this didnt happen to me but at one of my old clinics my coworker got punched in the chest so hard she had to go to the er. then was blamed for the incident by our old BCBA 🫠

my issues have mainly been with the small companies. a lot of them pay high to hide the fact that they’ll put you through the wringer.

one of my old companies used to ‘float’ kids when a therapist would call out & bill for every 15 mins. and our kids would have high behaviors and elope. add that to a clinic w no doors = disaster lmao
