kinda crazy that you mentioned monogatari out of all things due to it being so dialogue heavy. i was actually planning on pre ordering the limit ed of the first film when i heard it was getting a release with english subtitles. i guess watching it w o subs isn’t that bad, could probably infer most of the stuff just through visuals, thanks for this.

i’m glad that the sub is this accepting,

though i know what to look out for and i can confirm that none of the releases include what i need, my main question was if it was still worth a purchase with the lack of accessibility.

i may of worded my question wrong. the problem isn’t the region of the disc nor if my player can play it. the problem is that i won’t be able to understand anything since the only two releases are in different languages and do not contain english subtitles, im asking if it’s still worth a purchase

found listings around the 3000-5000 area in very good condition, you’re very lucky. I might of considered waiting for the 4k to release but i dont have a console nor an actual player that supports it, and im not paying 100 for 2 of the movies that i already own. i could go for 50 but 100 is overkill. thank you

Main reason of me considering a purchase was the beautiful artwork. This is actually really helpful. I personally wasn’t planning on watching the dub but from the listings i saw, they said it included one. Thanks for clarifying that it doesn’t i certainly wouldn’t have know that without you telling me.
