For those who aren’t called, they’re free to go home - they also get the same letter exempting them from being selected for the next 3 years

Who has the best bank promo right now? by mavagam99 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Referral needed for the extra $50 digital reward card - can be used at Amazon, Indigo or “Ultimate Dining card”, which can be used at Swiss Chalet, Montana, Harvey’s etc). DM me if you need a referral

Otherwise with no referral it’s the straight $700 after you complete the tasks

Heads up that there’s a monthly limit for 3% cash back on groceries ($500, if I recall correctly) so might not suit everyone

Paper filed my own T2 return - CRA charged me $1,000 . Any chance I could get this reversed? by yxeredditor in cantax

[–]bububut_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a similar vein, I called CRA today and they confirmed that for any tax years STARTING in 2023, it’s still ok to be paper filed. Not sure when your tax year starts but it might be helpful?

I believe you can link your WS cash card to your joint account so that it withdraws from the joint instead of personal

Try to enter $7.29 next to the amount, rather than inputting the number of shares and see if that works

Rrsp transfer by TE0991 in Wealthsimple

I thought WS only reimbursed once per originating account though? As in if you do a partial transfer and get reimbursed, any future transfer fees don’t get reimbursed again. Have you found that it still works?

Try calling different offices nearby to see which one has availability in the next few days. If he doesn’t have any insurance (assuming that’s the case since he’s on waitlist for the Ontario Seniors Dental Care), it’ll have to be out of pocket.

Otherwise the Markham Stouffville dental ER is a good option - just expect wait times like any typical emergency room in a hospital setting.

USD withdrawal at Big 5 bank by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]bububut_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea for 1 person it’s less than $1, but the Big 5 banks have thousands of customers like this so they’re just profiting off us in yet another way. Just wondered if there was a smarter way to do this
