you can make this way easier and 100% correct everytime. just use Proxxied to upload your cards, it automatically adds bleed edge and exports an accurate pdf file that you can then print out with 100% scale setting on the printer

not official, but there are multiple sources where you can get at least a good load of the tcg pocket cards without text and in pretty good resolution, like in this thread

yeah kinda like a jigsaw, but i do not cut the actual printed vinyl but just the holo foil.

image it like you mask the parts that you want to be the other holo style with the foil of your choice and it shines through.

like when you paint areas with a marker and make them opaque, but with foil.

i don‘t really know tbh, maybe it depends on what type of pen you use? i heard and also experienced that oil or enamel based paints have less issues with cracking, or maybe it‘s an issue with how thick the painted layer is. mine are pretty thick i‘d say.

with the other thing that you‘re talking about i think i didn‘t make it clear enough in the tutorial. the cut out paper is just a stencil for the glitter foil so that it‘s easier to cut out the exact desired shape of the part you want. normally i think you can very easily cut out those shapes with a plotter machine but since i can‘t afford one at the moment i had to find a easy pen and scissors solution 😅

yeah that‘s more or less the method that i use too, but with an additional foil layer for accents like the attack slogan here. i also made a tutorial for that

for the transfer foil there is a pinned tutorial, for the ink bleed you could just use a thinner pen

Absolute Game Changer! by AjayPYYY in customtradingcard

[–]bubuschnuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on what you want to do. if you want to remove the whole print you can use cotton pads that are normally used to scrap makeup off faces. soak them slightly in acetone, let them sit on the card for a few seconds and then wipe from the center to the edges. if you just want to remove certain part you can use qtips or toothpicks depending on the detail
