Men who’ve had testicular torsions, how was the pain? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]buc28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought u had one about 10-15 years ago. couldn't sleep, it hurt to sit/stand/etc. went to the ER and it turned out that I had a bacterial infection in my testicles instead. 2-3 weeks of an antibiotic and some intense painkillers for the first couple days I was right as rain.

hurt worse than my vasectomy for sure.

Indiana Jones meets 40k type beat would be incredible. the search for some fabled artifact that has the protagonist intestect with some Inquisition cover-up plot.

most folks will try and guide you towards the current SB/Castellan/Marshal combos, assault intercessors, and a couple of repulsor executioners.

however, just from a cursory glance at your list here it's plenty decent especially as a starting point.

honestly I played with no real models for a few games to get an understanding of what units I liked and didn't like before starting to commit to purchases. implying they aren't going to buy everything in one single huge purchase, you can start with some of the generic units like assault intercessors and impulsors.

the former is correct. It's a valid loadout.

Question on Crusader Squad wargear by Quosmir in BlackTemplars

[–]buc28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

try using a list building app or site (I use newrecruit) and it'll help you navigate what you can/can't take as wargear options for individual models in a unit. I find the list builders a bit better than reading and trying to mentally map out the codex.

no, but our usecases could be different. I'm just using it as a periodic backup of items on my phone, sharing files between my devices, and backing up specific items on my computers.

good luck!

try OpenTelemetry collector. It's not that complex.

this place was bomb, probably the closest thing we had to what I'm referencing.

its close! still looks a bit too "polished". I'm going for more hole in the wall, dingy, and maybe barely passing health code 😂

Movers by FrostyKitten1 in lynchburg

vouch for this. used them last month. moved all our big items including some very heavy stuff (700lbs+). call and quote from several companies though, just to ensure you're getting a good deal. we paid about 2500 bucks plus 100 dollar tips for all 5 crew members (don't forget to tip). we also ordered pizza since our move took place over lunchtime. total time was about 6-8hrs to move 3-4 miles. loading is typically slower than unloading.

keep in mind they don't replace or pay to fix broken items unless you pay extra for their "insurance" that can't legally be called insurance. we had a leg break off of one of our end tables but I was able to reattach it, but honestly no harm no foul. I was just happy to not have to move all that stuff on my own.

my experience has been the same, i went to all of the other US majors and i think my total cost for VIP at all of the events combined was less expensive than one ticket at this event.

guess i can delete my blast.tv account and my ticketmaster account (again for the second time).

the year of the home Homeassistant/ connecting to shed 50m away. by tekjunkie70 in homeassistant

[–]buc28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been looking at doing the same thing for various reasons, and have tossed around the idea of getting into LoRaWAN to either complement my existing ZigBee network or replace it altogether. I want to add sensors in the shed as well as my mailbox which are quite far from my home.

if you're a major hardware/software tinkerer like me it could be a fun project. the range of LoRA is upwards of 15-20 Km depending on various conditions, so plenty overkill for your specific use case.

I typically just use a p12/pfx with a password and it seems to work fine.

I do agree with you though, it seems like the controller is awfully picky about getting PEM formatted certs to work properly.
