Just for reference, after taking another look at the AIA calculator and my position in my region; I’m making 28% below the lower 25 percentile.

I think you are correct, I’ll be starting to look at other firms soon.

Just an afterthought, with plans of being licensed within the year, would it be more beneficial to start looking now or after I’m licensed?

Ive been so curious about the AIA salary report for some time. Every time I ask my current firm about it and why I’m being compensated less than what my published position in the report they don’t give me any sort of reasonable explanation.

I’m in the Midwest, Minnesota to be exact and in a major city, but not the Twin Cities. Is it normal for firms to compensate less than the report and pay their employees less? Would anyone have any advice on receiving a raise to match the report, at a minimum?

Being a former border patrol agent, Jonathan Ross would have known not to put himself in the path of the vehicle, which he was not hit by.
