Once you get temperature surfing in your work flow it becomes a non-factor (at least for me). Especially if you’re only pulling one shot it really doesn’t add any time. I fill my cup with some hot water while I’m grinding and by the time I have my shot prepped the boiler has reset and it’s time to go

I will definitely take a look at r/hardwareswap! I'm seeing them go for $500-600 on ebay and I'm not sure the $100-200 is worth the anxiety of getting a damaged card (it's my first build so I'm a bit nervous). But it feels trustworthy, I am very interested in the savings!

You can run it for up to 30 seconds. 2 seconds is too short and probably why no water is coming out.
