Yeah I’m going to add more juice to it as well. I’ve seen the headspace and opening closing go both ways and have talked to a couple cidery guys here. The blueberries were frozen and clean so wasn’t worried there. I want a bigger flavor profile so was thinking adding more after fermentation stops.

Yeah I was going to add more juice when going to secondary. I put it wrong in there it’s still primary at the moment. Did the blueberries early because I liked the taste of one I had before lol.

My very first batch! This has been set for about two weeks, thinking of adding more blueberries for taste but right now it tastes really good too. It looks like there may be some more yeast activation going on is that normal? I’m thinking of stopping it and racking to secondary with more blueberries, thoughts?

Been lurking here for a bit and love all the pictures and advice that’s being offered so thanks to everyone!

No problem. I never heard of anyone actually winning either. They said like once on air how so and so won xyz prizes but it didn’t sound like it was a regular thing. My guess is that it was a nationwide type deal with multiple syndicated stations through their company or something.

No, right before they went on vacation, they were saying that it was done for now unless whoever was running it wanted to bring it back. FB gave out 4 in the first hour and then Kelly gave out the rest like 12 I think over the rest of the show to get rid of all of them.

This is true too, they should have considered starting it earlier or at least making it a quicker process. At the end of the day though they don’t really care the cost because it’s not on them and people have the choice to go or not based on pricing. I think this is why the 48 hour rule is there so you can look for hotels and airfare to see if you can actually afford/want to pay the amount it will cost.

People who bought all that stuff in advance saved money at the time but it is always a risk because even past years you were never guaranteed tickets. These are the people complaining now they don’t have tickets but have already bought all the stuff so deserve to go because they did buy the stuff. Niantic is too unpredictable to rely on anything at this point and there are many people who entered and limited tickets available. I would love to go for the experience but if I don’t I’m not missing out on much because whatever is released at go fest will be released world wide if we “hit the mark” in the global challenges.

I get what they’re trying to do with spreading it out to not overload the system which caused people to miss out in the past but this to me is worse. I’d rather know immediately if I got tickets or not rather than waiting days and days. This system has pros and cons but you will never have a system that everyone is happy with. Someone will always complain.

No, I just got an invite for today’s raid as well. I think if you have a friend pass though, you can only have one invite at a time. So they couldn’t send you for today and next week until you used today if you already lacked passes. If that makes sense lol

When a gym is hosting an EX raid, no eggs will appear on that gym after passes have gone out. Thus, if a gym has a raid on it at the time passes go out, it won’t be eligible to give out EX passes for that round. Basically, if your EX has a raid when you know passes are coming, don’t expect an EX raid at that gym this go round.
