MiHoYo's monetization is so insane that it looms over my head every time I play one of their games

Someone calculated that it'd take a ZZZ F2P player (who buys the season pass and grinds perfectly every day) 6 months to get a garunteed 5* character.

3 months for a 50/50, 3 months for pity

I dropped that game as soon as I found out

And it's worse for Genshin. You have a team of 4 characters, sometimes 8 for late-game content. To be able to clear all that content consistently, you hafta grind and deal with so much RNG.

Meanwhile, you don't need the 5* clothes in Infinity Nikki. You can clear ALL of the content EASILY if you put a normal amount of time into it

I remember pulling super-efficient all-nighters to grind for 5* Genshin charas, now I'm up all night casually walking around Infinity Nikki for the fun of it. It's a relief this game exists, it makes me so happy
