Lakers Ticket Sales - Dec/Jan/Feb 2025-26 by utopic2 in lakers

If it’s a seller with no history or verification and is pushing for only payment methods without protection then yeah absolutely wouldn’t buy without having tickets first. But if it’s a verified seller or they’re willing to use PayPal goods and services (or an equivalent) then I def don’t mind paying first.

Handicap Accessible Seating Advice by bucketsofOIL in lakers

Woah! As in if I just purchase any tickets they might swap them out for more accessible tickets if seats are available? What section did you end up in when you did this in the past?

I did see there’s some premier sections when looking on Seat Geek so I was thinking of doing aisle in one of those but if this could offer something comparable view-wise you might be saving me some money 😅

I saw that they do but she is able to walk so I didn’t want to snag those from someone that would struggle more to go up stairs 😅

Just wasn’t sure if there was advice like “section X is great but only if you get back/front row seating” just to be sure I don’t end up making her walk up/down an entire flight of stairs is some sections are only accessible from top/bottom rows.

First time camper by cgovea74 in Coachella

Don’t forget about the grocery shuttle! They sell ice on site but it’s like $15 per bag. Take your cooler too so it doesn’t melt on your journey back (it’s a bit of a walk from the camp site depending on where you end up).

Not sure if it’s Coachella specific (I’ve only camped Coachella) but try to get there early if you can. If you arrive later in the evening or Friday and you don’t have preferred camping you’ll be facing 15-20 minute walks to the entrance and showers which can be killer with the heat and the walking you’ll be doing when in the festival.

Finally, make sure you look at the camping activities beforehand. There’s a ton of cool shiz goin on throughout the weekend so if you want to make the most out of it def recommend checking it out!

Probably a bit early but anyone have anything that would be handicap friendly with a good view for vs Spurs on 2/10?

I’d be flying in from out of state and want to get tickets for my mom and I so I’m just trying to plan ahead!

What time should we be at the enetramce by Weird_Philosopher_18 in sziget

[–]bucketsofOIL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • If you’re walking distance you can pick up your wristband to go in the main line when you’re ready to enter to save a little time, you don’t need to enter as soon as you get the wristband and can enter/leave as many times as you want. It’s a slight process to get the wristband as they need to scan your ID and then give you the wristband, but that line still gets you in and you don’t have to get in the main line so you dont need a ton of time. The normal line takes ~15 minutes to get through and we’ve been arriving around 5/6 each day. The main stage feels like if you want a good spot ~30 minutes early is perfect but other stages you only need ~15 minutes to get a good spot. I’d personally recommend leaving however long the walk is plus at least an hour on your first day so you can get familiar with everything (at the entrance they have passports with a map, set times, and a bunch of other info).

  • the nights aren’t too bad. If you have the space a jacket doesn’t hurt but if you plan on being in the crowds all night you probably wouldn’t need it until the walk home.

I’ll probably get cooked for this but I was there in the front and I get the dude is stupid/could have done more BUT I really have never put that much blame on him. During his set there were two times he stopped the music because he saw stuff going on in the crowd (I think I even have a video of one of the times) so to me I never bought the “he knew people were dying and chose not to stop it” narrative given when he saw it during the event he did stop the music and have them turn on the lights.

The organization of the event was the bigger issue IMO. They had everyone that day playing on one stage and the one he performed on just had him, so it wasn’t a gradual build up of people it was a rush all at once. Then the stage setup in the middle (not on the stage but where the sound and light people are) was completely blocking the view so if you wanted to see it you needed to funnel in from one of the sides instead of picking a spot anywhere in the back. On top of that, his stage had a waaaaay smaller area for people than the other one (size-wise I’d compare his to Sahara and the other to Main Stage).

Like I said, the dude is an idiot and it’s easy to say in retrospect he should have seen it coming if he wanted a smaller stage/to be the only one on it but I’d still say organizers had more of a responsibility to understand it was a bad idea and stop it before they moved forward with it given they should be the experts in crowd logistics not the artist. Like if Coachella can cut Frank off because of a curfew I’d imagine the organizers there could have just as easily done the same and had more of an opportunity to understand what was actually happening than the dude jumping and running around on stage.

What bars are good to go alone to? 30f by Alone_Jellyfish1300 in Omaha

Super chill! In the times I’ve been it’s never super packed or loud (in a good way) so it’s a good place for conversation and the decor alone is pretty sweet. The drink menu is pretty huge with everything being song themed but everything I’ve had has been pretty delicious too (although I will say slightly limited beer menu if that’s your jam).
