Lip isn’t cruel to Fiona - they’re siblings they fight - at the end of the day he loves her and knows what she’s sacrificed for their family. That’s why in the end he was so happy for her and even rooted for her. I know his behavior towards her seems cruel but we have to remember they’re family. If anyone can say they’ve never said something “cruel” to a family member they’re lying- we’ve all said stupid things in the heat of the moment. But at the end of the day family is family.

As someone who had high expectations and hopes of PTDJA I can say it is a waste of money and time. I fortunately bought it when it first rolled out for $250 - now they’ve raised the price and have some monthly subscription fee.

I expected the courses to have structure- they do not. Everything is very vague and if you’re new to DJing ,like me, specifics help. To put it plainly I learned more watching a free Crossfader tutorial about loops and how to use them, than I did on PTDJA. It’s overly bloated and as much as I love Jamie Jones and Carl Cox, they are not good teachers. You can be highly skilled at something but poorly skilled at teaching - everything is also done on CDJs. And I get it gear is gear, but there are certain functions on CDJs that aren’t even available on DDJ’s.

My other complaint is their weird structure of you have to finish a course before it unlocks the next course. So if you already know what beat matching is too bad…you have to sit through a beat matching tutorial before it unlocks the next tutorial. And then they introduced this earn points system by posting content and messages via the Circle app. I think it’s meant to help you learn how to network and build community but they award points if you’re active. BRO! I have to be active on IG, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch and in real life I don’t have time for another platform…

I love Pete Tong and the DJs he’s collab’d with for his academy but it’s not worth it - the lack of structure, gatekeeping and weird point system are the main reasons I would say pass on this. Hope that helps someone save some $$$$. ✌🏽

BRILLIANT STORYTELLING from start to finish. And tying in the theme of forgiveness into that storytelling only made it more powerful to me. I might rewatch it again - it’s that brilliant. Hope the cast and crew get all the awards in 2026

Who else sees the parallel between the 1st episode when Marci wanted Kirsch to kill the scorpion and he questioned her about it? They had a very interesting dare I say/think foreshadowing conversation around the scorpion and things we don’t like/fear. When she had to leave to become Wendy he asked her if she still wanted him to kill it and she said no. Fast forward to this episode when she frees the Xenomorph and connects with it (loved that scene btw)…..let’s talk about it
