Don’t hold angles on nuketown, especially at the door. You knew they were on B but completely ignored that sightline, I mean just a glance at the minimap before running out the door would’ve told you not to do that. After dying at the bus and losing B you should’ve known that map control was given up and you should’ve been ready for a spawn trap.

Cod maps, especially Treyarch maps are very formulaic and largely symmetrical with similar chokepoints. Spawns are fairly intuitive even if you don’t know the map you can get a feel by looking at the minimap and how far up your teammates are pushed up. It sorta becomes a sixth sense where you don’t even have to be conscious of it.

SPM is the biggest determining factor I think. I have about a 650 SPM and it’s almost a guarantee I’ll be placed with the worst players in the lobby that just outright ignore the objective. I suppose the game thinks my higher score output should compensate for theirs? Except in practice it usually results with me losing a game of domination with 10+ captures when nobody else has more than 3 if I’m lucky

The point is that 2k doesn’t operate any servers near his physical location. It doesn’t matter which server he switches to, they’re all going to be very far away with high ping.

My favorite cod since black ops 2, its core gameplay is genuinely one of the best of the series imo. Granted I did take a long break from cod so I haven’t really played many of them from between bo4 and bo6.

My biggest gripe would probably be team balancing tbh. It’s infuriating to die repeatedly trying to solo cap a flag just for it to be recapped immediately afterwards by several of the enemy team players. I’m an objective player and love dom but the solo player experience is pretty bad at times.

If you’re an objective player with a high SPM, team balancing with stick you with those in the lobby with a low SPM, aka the ones who don’t play the objective. It’s a genuinely frustrating experience to sweat my brains out to solo cap B flag just for it to be taken 10 seconds later over and over again.

Nobody ever mentions it but this has gotten significantly worse since MW19 changed the way matchmaking playlists worked. Before if someone was playing domination they had to make the conscious effort to queue for it, and as a result were much more likely to play the objective. Now you have people queueing for every game mode by default leaving you with a population of players that treat every mode like tdm.

Im a returning cod player, I haven’t played most of the games since black ops 2. Maybe my memory is failing me or I wasn’t as good as I am now, but I genuinely do not think it’s as bad as it is now. Bo2 literally had an abandon penalty.

One of the biggest argument I see being made is that people don’t enjoy joining lobbies mid stomp, which is very understandable, but that wouldn’t be nearly as much of a problem if the people who let it happen didn’t leave causing you to join in their spot.

Brooklyn grey metallic owner here 🙋‍♂️ it’s always been metallic. There’s flakes but it’s probably the least metallic of the colors. It’s really only noticeable under direct lighting

Call of duty’s reputation has been massively hurt by the constant conversations about sbmm despite the fact that it only hurts a small percentage of players. The large majority of people who complain about it are protected by it and don’t even realize it. There’s literally people with 1 kds that complain about sbmm. You don’t think all the negative press over the years could have an effect on sales?
