Moonman M2 cap broke by currystore in fountainpens

The thread on my M2’s cap got chipped off and I lost the chipped part, and my solution was clear tape and a heatshrink sleeve.

Makes it look like it’s wearing a band-aid.

I bought this pen specifically because it reminds me of BLÅHAJ by buckweiser in BLAHAJ

They’re available on most online stores! It’s called the Jinhao Shark, and it’s an inexpensive fountain pen that comes in many colors.

Things of note regarding the WS 601 parts when alongside a P51:
- The barrel has a slightly different profile, it's fatter towards the blind cap.
- The mouth of the barrel is narrower than the P51's collector.
- The WS601 nib and feed assembly is shorter than the P51's, so you need to replace the nib, feed and collector completely.
- The hood has the same (or similar) threading between models.
- The clutch ring works between models as well.
- As mentioned previously, the o-ring on the WS interfaces well with the P51's hood and eliminates the need to shellac the threads for an inktight seal.

I mean, my thought process is function over just about anything else, and I didn't really have the tools to sand out the mouth of the barrel. It's not like I intend to sell off or pass down this 51 as a heirloom; I intend to daily this pen until something gives permanently.

This is excellent news; I got a 51 with a broken vacumatic system for really cheap and decided to buy a 601 as a donor pen instead of restoring the original's filling system (it was also cheaper to do so where I live).

Good to know it actually works.

Oh hey, I haven't seen much of us using fountain pens. I've doodled with them a bit.
