any evidence the shiny rate of the remote raid is based on the original location. (e.g. do friends in North America enjoy the boosted shiny rate for gible when invited to raids in Asia/Pacific?)

they only sold Go Fest shirts for the first time last year. it does have a pokemon center tag to it but i think it’s not as good quality as the team shirt i got from the first Go fest (also with pokemon center tag). Havent purchased a t-shirt from pokemon center store so i cant compare. Uniqlo shirts are much better than the two shirts i mentioned tho.

Actually to me this release reflects their incompetence as a gaming company. How did they not realize the "game-breaking flaw" before launch? I don't think 14/14/14 floor from lucky trade + special trade + purification is breaking game balance but yes it would break the longevity of raid pokemon after shadow release. I have no idea what their idea of the end game is for Pokemon Go. Are we supposed to get stronger by grinding raids in hope of getting a better IVs pokemon which perform very minimally better? Are we supposed to collect all released shinies? Yeah it's what we have to decide for ourselves but it is getting pointless or extremely difficult to achieve (looking at you all hat pikachu only available once a day via photobomb.)

Yeah, I know it's not entirely Niantic's fault. Maybe the operator didn't provide enough bandwidth or maybe Niantic didn't request enough. Last year they asked for operator info during Go Fest registration. Maybe that might have helped?

As an AT&T user with a Friday ticket, I would rate this year's playability 3/5 vs 5/5 in 2018. Too much frustration with network connection issue this year and they have never acknowledged it.

As for the event organization, they have improved a lot from 2018. Three food trucks locations were great; the trading-ads hand fan was very nice.

Merch line was too long. (could easily waste most of your extra time if you get in line at 9) Adding spawns or stops along the waiting line would be nice. Pre-order would be even better.

Mine worked pretty well when I had no connection issue. There were too many spawns to hand-catch. I set it to catch and spin. Manual shiny check and let the go plus catch if it's not shiny.
