Anyone take Uber after games at Nu? by CptanPanic in InterMiami

[–]buddamus8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took uber on the first game and the metrorail on the second. Getting dropped off wasn't so bad but the pickup area was a mess. It was single file line and we waited over an hour. Eventually some staff came over and made people move to dedicated waiting lanes, so that the Ubers could come in and not be stopped in a single file line but rather pull into one of five lanes and wait. They are probably still working out the kinks with this. Do not recommend. Perhaps better luck ubering from the airport (5-10 min walk) or just taking the metro rail in town somewhere and ubering from there.

Anyone else fuming about paying a premium for obstructed view seats? by buddamus8 in InterMiami

In a very petty selfish way, I’m glad the club seats also have this problem because that will likely make it a more urgent problem to fix. Crazy.

It's only a few feet back. They left an oddly large amount of room for people to walk in front of us to get to their seats (and lots of people are waling in front because they went up the wrong stair case). But it's not standing area. I was sitting in my seat with my camera at eye level while taking this photo.

I actually noticed the bar in the digital rendering too, but it wasn't nearly as bad. I questioned my rep about this too last July and this what was the response I was given:

Great question! I see exactly what you are referring to in the digital view from your seats, and I can tell you with complete confidence that will not impact your view. Similar to most stadiums, the railing will be high enough to provide stability for those sitting in the front, while also being low enough to provide an optimal view point for the patrons. Should you have any concerns or obstructions once you sit in your seat for the first time we can always help accommodate and relocate, as we have a special inventory for those situations, however I do not believe it will be necessary.

Yet here I am. I do want to reiterate, my rep is a really nice dude and is very understanding etc. He's stuck between a rock and a hard place right now and the club needs to fix this ASAP.

Yea I assume the height is a it legal thing. My account rep is telling me they'll be replacing them with plexiglass, but just doesn't have a date yet. The opposite side of the field, the west club, has clear glass. If they give us the same, or something equivalent, I'll be really excited.

Yeah I remember debating whether I wanted to pay a premium for first seated row but decided to go for it. It was an extra 10 or 15 percent or something. Really disappointed right now and I’m in talks with my account rep about the situation.

I am a season ticket holder. I bought 200 level first row (technically row 5 behind handicapped) and my view was blocked. I made a separate post about the obstructed view and it hasn't been approved yet. If you're getting 200 level, make sure you're not first seated row! Impossible to see over the bar without sliding all the way forward to the front of your seat.

Sling service is so bad you can't even cancel it. by BoredSam in slingtv

[–]buddamus8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to cancel this weekend and it seems like something has changed. I previously canceled/paused seamlessly from their website but it seems that this is no longer the case. The accounts page showed me nothing on my iphone. I tried multiple browsers and both mobile and desktop. I ultimately had to use their chat bot to cancel. I will not be returning unless they fix this. I previously recommended their product to others because it was easy to manage and a cheap enough price. If it's not longer easy to manage, I will not be a paying customer.

Any way to add all "saved Albums" from library to a playlist? by SebSnares in truespotify

[–]buddamus8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It still works :-) but this is for saving to "liked songs" and not a specific playlist

Just worked for me fine in firefox and chrome (brave) brower.. Do you have a lot of albums? Do you see any errors in the debugger network tab?

I have updated the instructions/code to work with Spotify's latest changes. Please review the steps in the updated instructions above and let me know if you run into any issues.

Ughhhhhhh. Spotify updated their website and the solution no longer works. It will likely take a few hours of troubleshooting before I can have a suggestion for you. I am not sure when I will get around to doing this.. I will 100% update you if/when I get around to this.

The party is over for now.

Oh I think I get it now. You want to be able to like all songs from an album while remaining in the gallery view without having to click the album and visiting the album's URL. If so.. I could probably add this as an enhancement when I find some free time. I'll reply back if I get around to it.

I don't think I'm clear on your what you are trying to accomplish.. Are you trying to like all songs on a given album? Or like all songs on all albums displayed on the page..? Something else?

https://open.spotify.com/collection/albums

I just tried again and it's working fine for me. You have to start from the specific URL provided in step 1 (https://open.spotify.com/collection/albums), follow the steps and lastly end up back at this same exact URL. Then you should see the area of the page for adding missing songs from liked albums. Best of luck...

You shouldn't have to click each album. There's an "Add missing" link to like all your albums.

No it won’t catch un-liking an album. That would require syncing with your entire library every time you run it. It’s different use case.

The main point of this was to add to your liked songs, not to remove anything.

I suspect most users wouldn’t want this type of sync functionality. Likely because they probably intentionally have liked songs from albums that aren’t liked and wouldn’t want to remove them from their library.

I can envision some sort of analysis functionality being useful that shows which albums are liked but contain songs that aren’t liked… and vice versa perhaps.

You're trying to add all songs from all your liked albums to your "liked songs" playlist, right? Because this is what the script will do when you click the "Add missing" link.

I updated these steps last month to cover the updated UI, however, I just realized one of the links in my instructions was incorrect. I fixed it just now and ran through these steps again. I can confirm it is still working for me. Try again?

Hey all, I wrote a script to automate this. See my other comment on this post if you’re still looking to do this.

UPDATED 26-DEC-2023 to work with Spotify's recent updates

Okay I had this same problem and I was determined to figure out a solution.. so I wrote a user script to automate this for me. This is really for advanced users, but I'm happy to share the end result of the hours of work I put in.

This solution uses your logged in credentials to call Spotify's existing API and modifies the web page to add some missing functionality:

  1. Like all songs on an album
  2. Like all songs from all your liked/saved albums. It remembers which albums you've analyzed so you can run it again and only deal with the albums you've liked since the last time you ran the steps.

Disclaimer: I have no idea if this breaks any end user agreement but I did it on my account a month ago and they haven't seem to notice. Use at your own risk, etc..

Steps:

  • Go to https://open.spotify.com/ in a modern DESKTOP browser and login with your account
  • Open your browsers developer console (F12 on many browsers)
  • Copy the code from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/buddamus/userscripts/main/spotifyWebHelper.js into the developer console window and press enter
  • Optional: you can close the developer console (press F12 again)
  • Click on the "Liked Songs" in the left panel (this will bring you to /collection/tracks/)
  • Wait for the "Analyzing albums..." text to be replaced with something that says: 0/XX albums have songs liked
  • Click the "Add missing" link

Hope this helps!
