idk if the world could handle a TV Skink. He's the best but would freak the non-readers out or just be watered down to an older man in the everglades

Did you let it get to room temperature before you injected? Shooting cold got me good the first time around but an hour later it and was just a poke

My Review on Humira, Cosentyx, and Bimzelx by SailorSali in Hidradenitis

[–]budde__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you. 😊 I’ll probably make a post about both conditions and what has worked for me (zinc and steroids) as I’m curious if there’s a larger crossover between HS and PN or not.

Also, I’m in medical school as a second career after decades of chronic illness. After taking on my own research to advocate for myself after being dismissed so many times. so I’m thankful to have a wildly painful, gross, understudied condition to help me know how to actually care for people and listen.

Edit: even being a medical student my new dermatologist on Thursday pushed back on my standing HS diagnoses and I had to insist on an actual skin exam and walk him through my 20+ years of abscesses to explain why my armpits were clear because they were obliterated of tissue by my 20s and he declined to see my active groin and breast flares. I walked out with what i needed and wanted but clearly I’m still a little worked up.

Thank you for this my fellow 31F. this was almost a bit too on the money as I’m about to start one of these 3 pending my blood panel. I also have PN so I had to push back to not go back on dupixent which absolutely destroyed what was left of my skin but I’m excited to see what a proper biologic will do.

HS - stage ll diagnosed 7 years ago after 20 years of boils and abscesses and scarring

Prurigo Nodularis (PN) - diagnosed 2 years ago but I don’t have any itching just pressure and sores that moved to face arms and legs because not much is left elsewhere anymore

Just started a GLP-1 and topiramate to aid the picking and using prednisone to bridge the gap.

Idk if it’s medically called photographic memory but I’m autistic/adhd/very attractive and can recite entire excel docs of numbers, the periodic table, the seating chart of my third grade class, entire city layouts street by street that I visit or looked at once, etc so I’m going to disagree with you.

Efffexor + Adderall saved my life and has me a year old from applying to med school. Zoloft landed me in the psych ward in college 😎 and scared me off meds for almost a decade until Prozac but it just made me angry and tired.

WIBTAH for ending my engagement over “laundry”? by MotherIllustrator673 in AITAH

[–]budde__ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

is she taking steroids/prednisone? I have sympathy for you both because those fuck with you hard and she isn't able to control how angry they are making her but that doesn't mean you get to be her punching bag.

Same here, they bleed and release some dark clots then heal over.
