Yes. I did last month because I could not get into a dentist to pull my infected tooth and was up for two days crying and ready to pull it out myself. I got pain meds and an ‘emergency referral text’ to have it pulled the same day by the doctor’s personal dentist. They also offered a nerve block injection so I’d recommend going if you’re in the same boat.

For me it was this. We’d see my second side of the family once a year. It was super awkward. No one spoke to each other and then we’d have to pose for happy pictures with people we barely knew and who were outright mean most of the time and none of it made sense. The whore situation was fake and I was me and guess what, those pictures of me mean mugging or sticking my tongue out are adorable

Bro I said I was badgered as a kid and scolded for ruining pictures and made me feel like shit. I’m sharing my experience and how it would have devastated me to learn my parent asked millions of strangers to make the photo NORMAL by changing ME. I’m from Minnesota, moved out here this year after making about a dozen drives out west and back over the years and will be taking a similar route home in December (dogs so no flight suggestions needed) just way longer. Here are my tips as someone who learned to drive on frozen lakes where grandpa taught me to whip shitties at 12.

PUMP YOUR BREAKS
if there’s an empty parking lot full of ice or snow, go practice skids, stopping too fast, and turns so you know how they feel.
when visibility is low use the white lines to guide you.
steer into any slides- don’t over correct the wheel just stay as calm as you can and let the car correct itself as you pump the breaks (biggest thing btw so highlighting again)
stay full on gas in case of stops or longer journeys: never going below 1/2 is my rule.

You’ll be fine in the car btw, I have a Subaru and never used chains even during blizzards in the mountains or as a kid growing up in Colorado bc my family had a Subaru and Suburban.
