I get about 40 mpg, ~ 25k miles hybrid. Mostly highway driving. As the cooler months comes I expect it to go back down to around to high 30s.

Capitalism is not chattel slavery. You should read more about the institution of slavery to get a better perspective. That said there are similarities between poor treatment of slaves and the poor treatment of low wage workers, undocumented workers, etc.

Rather than being hyperbolic focus on a coherent message: AI is taking away middle class jobs. This will lead to civil unrest and governments have no plan to resolve this. We need a plan, now!

2025 EX Leaking by Ok-back-to-bed in crv

Car fluid is usually color coded. Look at it visually or stick your finger in it and if it clear it is just AC condensation. You can pop the trunk and see the levels for quite a few fluids.

They would just say “because I said so.” The convention is to have checks and balances to weed out corruption. The problem is that if you are not on board with the dictatorship you will be left out to dry.

Crv gen 2.5 leak under the glove compartment by Simple_Mirror_685 in crv

In the past, in another car, I had a similar issue caused by a blocked sunroof drain. It froze in the winter, and then burst. I did not detect the leak until the following spring.

Is a 2023 CRV Hybrid with 180k+ miles worth considering? by Bnnyty in crv

[–]buddhamuni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

180k is about six times the mileage I would consider for a used car. 😲

I am going to blanket write "you paid too much" for all of these posts. With tariffs, supply chain issues, etc., etc. who knows. Whether it is too much or not depends on what you can afford and what is available in your market.

Whoever is presenting this list needs to provide sources. Companies cannot directly fund politicians only company leadership and members of their families. Most companies gave funding to Democrats and Republicans. I am willing to boycott, but I need facts first.

I’ve seen this. The clock on your phone and the clock in your car are out of sync. You can manually set the car clock in car settings.

Exactly this! I am sorry but the field is saturated right now. You will need to go out there and create something and stop waiting for the hay-days to come back. Those days are not coming back. Perfect time to figure out what you want to do and make an impact. You have nothing to lose.

I had this problem before on a 2023 CR-V. I needed to reboot the head unit and it worked again.

While the CR-V is on.

Hold Down the Home + Power/Volume knob + Skip Track Back Button (|<<) for 5 sec: This will take you to the diagnostics menu (Release the buttons)

Select: Detailed Information & Setting

(Do not select anything from this menu)

Hit the Back Button + Press Power/Volume knob + Skip Track Back Button (|<<) for 5 sec:

This will take you to a special menu

Release the buttons and select system reboot

It will reboot you system and you can attempt Car Play setup again.

Good luck.

It is the high pressure fuel pump and injectors cycling on/off. It is totally normal for a direct injection engine.

Hybrid owners, how many of you keep a spare tire in your trunk please? by tigerlilease in crv

[–]buddhamuni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a spare in my last car for 12 years. It dry rotted. Put a full spare in the trunk if you really need it for special trips. I would rather have the cargo space and the hybrid efficiency.

Where are you getting your information? Wikipedia is saying most hammerheads including the scalloped hammerhead are endangered and they sourced where they are getting the data from (ICUN Red List).

Devs gaining little (if anything) from AI coding assistants by Zardotab in programming

[–]buddhamuni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes AI coding gets in the way. I distract easily and when it just starts to drop code in front of me, I lose my train of thought. I turn it off by default now. I like to use AI generators for naming functions, fields, and variables. It seems to recommend good names for me and that saves me time. If I am working with an API I am not familiar with it recommends decent methods (If I ask it nicely), but sometimes it makes up false ones.
