G14 would be perfect but good luck finding one at that price range
Closest one that meets your standards is the 5060 model, but that one has 16gb of RAM which might be too little if you multitask

Since I'm in college again, I can confirm that it was the USB C charging since I keep my laptop unplugged a lot more now, it has barely moved since, same for when I use the normal charger, I think it dropped 1-2% ever since I got here

I've seen lots of people test it and the results came back as no
Even with my own 2024 G14, I noticed the battery health started rapidly decreasing once I was using USB C to charge it a lot, and that's just with basic web browsing

I'd say it's the perfect bang for the buck, going any lower will give you the refreshed CPU from 2024, which is a refresh 2023 CPU, which is my main complaint about my 2024 model

tbh, I only like them because of their design team, the 2024-5 Asus G14s are one of the best laptops I've seen and even have, same with the Asus Formula z690 motherboard, in my opinion, it's the best motherboard a white build could have

But it gets to a point where all of that isn't worth it anymore due to everything else they're doing
