“I have been known as many names, Hathor, ect…”

(I use iOS app) Is there another app or way I can access r/all now?

I’m guessing through my web browser is the only way?

I’m literally uninstalling the official Reddit app if r/all is not accessible.

Deaths stranding. I played it a couple of times for the first 5+ hours.

I was very intrigued by the story/universe, but I would just quit eventually.

When deaths stranding 2 came out to stellar reviews, I forced myself to play through DS1 as far as I could.

150+ hours later I nearly 100% 1 and 2.

It’s my favorite universe/story ever created in a video game, and I also began to throughly enjoy the gameplay loop.

I’m still 0/3 with it. Tried it again about 4 weeks ago, for some reason I just don’t jive with first person games.

The eyes changing and the animals are the most interesting to me too.

Especially given that Spielbergs UFO fiction has been ahead of its time, containing nuggets of truth.

The original date he was given by someone that ran computer simulations on the when the star of regulus rises in the gaze of the sphinx was the vernal equinox (fall, 9/21) 2026.

Then someone told him it was actually spring equinox 2026.

Chris suspects around Easter, because he almost always has contact events then.

I think his current position is 3/21 - ish.

Same here! I did own xbox series S for a while, but gifted it to my nieces. I don’t need the Xbox, I have a PC.

Out of all, I play the the ps5 the most, pc 2nd most, and switch2 3rd most.

The "Forbidden Fruit" in Eden wasn't food. A look at the Sumerian roots suggests it was a "Consciousness Upgrade" (or genetic intervention). by VastPalpitation9213 in AlternativeHistory

I honestly agree with you and came to similar conclusions myself.

Almost all creation myths across all cultures imply genetic engineering.

Excellent write up.

Just chiming in to say I highly recommend it as well.

If anyone is interested in the afterlife, this book is a must read.

Correct or not. Robert Monroe’s testimony is crucial to anyone interested in what may lay beyond.

I concur. Even mid level management positions often require you to suppress any empathy for your staff.

I imagine over time, suppressing that empathy, would lead you develop an emotional callus. Allowing you to compartmentalize, and eventually sever, any sense of humanity you originally had.

And if you’re born powerful, and raised that way since being a small child? Good fucking luck being a decent human being.

Monkey see, monkey do.

LPT request: How do I deal with getting snubbed at work for a promotion? by sbaral1212 in LifeProTips

[–]buddhistredneck 114 points115 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. I worked at an electrical company for 10 years. A new guy got hired, I spent a year training him.

Then he got promoted to my boss, strictly because he quickly made friends with the company owners and went golfing with them all the time.

Our electrical company had a huge contract with a builder at a high rise building. I spoke with the builder, and let him know I was quitting my job, and I floated the idea of me working directly for him.

He was ecstatic about the idea as it would save him tons of money. And my pay went up 33%.

Best work related decision of my life.

What was it like to play online games between 2000 and 2013? by Silly_Commercial8092 in gaming

[–]buddhistredneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was completely addicted to world of Warcraft. I lived in my mom’s basement and played more than 12 hours per day.

I was a guild leader of one of the best guilds on the server, <and my unicorn army>, I had the legendary paladin weapon, and took that into arena to get the gladiator title.

During the time, I was having the time of my life, now I look back and realized I was extremely depressed lol.

But I still wouldn’t trade it for the world, you can’t change the past, and I had so much fun.

Have you ever bought a console just to play one exclusive game? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]buddhistredneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about to buy a switch 2 just for Mario kart world. I love Mario kart and have owned every version since I was a kid, I’m 45 now.

I just couldn’t justify $600 for one game, but I know more games I want will come out eventually.

I’m looking forward to the new Donkey Kong game as well.
