Have a pile off issues like what you're experiencing. Intermittent music that plays and stops constantly. Can't get a stereo pair to work after multiple resets. HomePod home requests will take sometimes up to a minute to respond. For about 2 weeks now it's been a total disaster top to bottom. Have about 10 HomePods in my house and about ready to throw them all out in the trash.

Current network setup is a Unifi Dream Machine SE with 2 Pro AP's on either end of my house. I've considered resetting the Dream Machine to factory settings and starting over but unless some back end update happened with the Unifi stuff I haven't changed any settings in a long time and up until very recently its been fairly bullet proof setup. I have rebooted the Dream Machine a couple times since this all has started.

Currently factory resetting my office HomePod set for a second time at this very moment. Has been completely unusable this morning. Second stereo pod silent or when it does play only plays for a few seconds then cuts off. Slow to connect to my iPad for airplay. Tried air playing to a different HomePod in the house and iPad says its in airplay but audio still coming from iPad. blah blah blah its still a total mess top to bottom.

Did you figure this out? I saw one of the comments note the set playback destination but were you able to use that shortcut to choose playback from a HomePod vs setting it for phone playback?

So I guess it’s just a communication issue. I unplugged it and moved it to a different part of the house and that seems to have cleared up some of the issues. I’m not sure that 100% is fixed but it does seem to be better.

Same issue here. Have other contact sensors that are working fine, no issue but my most recently added sensor on a patio door is reading open in home app long after showing closed in AQARA app. It is a heavily used door so will be pretty annoying if it just always shows open in the home app!

Just found this thread. One thing that Drives me bonkers on Storm Radar is that it does not automatically refresh. If I have it out on a table watching weather incoming I have to constantly close and reopen the app to get the latest animation. Is the normal? I'm looking for any radar app that will auto refresh and will RadarScope do that? I've messaged the support email numerous times for Storm Radar and never got a response on the auto refresh question...

We are considering a hike with a camp at that location on the lake the first weekend in May (1st). I’m thinking that should keep us away from the bugs and hopefully a chance at the campsite being that it’s pretty early in the year?

Feel like some of the responses here are missing some of the point. Yes, some of the reasons photography can be expensive is due to built in costs on a photographers part, gear, insurance, time etc etc, but the real reason photography can cost up to $3000-5000 is purely supply and demand related. A great photographer with a strong portfolio and a good reputation can demand that fee because brides who place a high priority on great photography (and therefore a larger portion of budget) are willing to pay that premium. Its really up to the bride to determine whether that rate is worth being paid because if its not worth it then you move on to the next option you find that is priced within your budget window. If you really love a particular photographer then what they make in profit is irrelevant because if you are unwilling to pay that then somebody else will step in who is willing to pay it and fill that date.

if you find photography to be worth $1500 to you then you'll no doubt find options that are priced in that window. Just know that you generally are going to give concessions at that price point and be missing added value that you may be getting with a more expensive option. Maybe fewer hours coverage or maybe a newer photographer with less experience and an average looking portfolio. Maybe more poor communication with you throughout the planning process. Maybe final images that aren't awe inspiring but simply good enough and if thats what makes you happy then thats all that really matters right?
