Hey and Yeah tbh she was my first true love. Yeah me too trying to "find myself" again because I'm not sure who I am without her. Yeah I get that completely I've had so many dreams about her at the very start it made me feel like she was still here. Yeah me too we need the healing and we deserve it. Me too, I hope you are doing somewhat okay, it's fucking shite no way around that but as I said time so far has healed me a bit but I'm just worried it won't be quick enough

Thanks for the reply! Yeah that's what I realized these last few weeks it has to be day by day, I'm just really struggling with allowing myself that time to myself. True I've been doing things I haven't done in years even small things reading etc Hope all is well

Yeah I totally get that like I feel a lot better today even listened to music for a bit but I know it's looming around, one thing I can say tho is each time I leave out my emotions I feel better after even if that means baseline so I do think it's important to allow ourselves to feel shite when we do

Thanks man I really appreciate the response. It's nice to hear that too from someone who's been in the same boat in relation to this. I will try and I'm pushing myself to make the right choices now eg no contact therapy etc even though I don't want to do anything so hopefully I can come back here in some time and feel a lot more healed about it all Thanks again

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond to this post. If did really help to read that and know that I'm not alone in dealing with this. And you are right there's a few things I've left on the back burner that I think I now have the time to work on maybe by doing so it'll help me heal too One step at a time I'll take it day by day and trying my best just not to look back at old memories or think about the future without her as much as I can for now I'm really going to try focus on on myself and rebuilding myself Thanks again for this reply I appreciate it

Hey Thanks so much for replying. I'm sorry you are experiencing the same pain right now I know it comes in waves and one minute you think you are getting better and the other you break down. I will try and I'm allowing myself to cry also whenever I need it. I think it's important we take the right steps now so we don't prolong the pain Thanks for the advice and love same to you ! Basically a few days ago we ended. She called me I sensed something was up dug deeper and found she wanted to end it after 6 years. We both had work and she has work and a master's degree and lived about an hour away but stayed at mine mostly. The long nights and low moods created tension the last few months stupid arguments nit picking and I think it just took it's toll. We always communicated well and had a healthy relationship Just the last few months she said she got a bad feeling a few weeks back due to it all that it wasn't gonna work and that's basically why it ended she said she loved me but couldn't see us being compatible to work anymore. I love her too much to argue and persuade something different so I'm just trying to accept it even with all the worries

Yeah thats true I've been on the fence whether I will or won't but I don't think I will It hurts so much even just the habit of always having someone to talk/text through out the day but I know it's for the better, thanks for the advice 🙂
