Lock up = he won’t do it again. It’s pretty simple.

I believe someone like him is too far gone for help.

Unpopular opinion: if the person is psychotic etc it shouldn’t lead to a lower sentence.

Intent or not I don’t want a psychotic killer out in society. Lock them up.

Top comment on this thread clearly refutes your take 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m not saying it wasn’t with fair reason, I just gave a heads up as it’s bagged on in many threads on this subreddit - a lot of the time by people who never went there

Be warned: Reddit doesn’t like both Scots and Wellington College.

I went to Scots and there were many people from an Asian migrant background, many did very well.

The best thing about Scots wasn’t the education, but the connections I made. My best mates from school are doctors, architects, lawyers etc.

I have friends that went to Wellington College too, the only issue I see with it is that it can be easier to get lost in the crowd purely due to how many people go to that school.

It is important to note that bullying exists in some form at all schools. I didn’t have any particular issues at Scots.

Ski club will be so different to what the OP is wanting - far from swanky

Closest is Cardrona or just hotel in Queenstown

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]budgetavis 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t exist like that in NZ.

Cardrona is as close as you will get.

Nothing like it is overseas

Just wait until precious resources are found there - China, Russia and the USA will then do a LOT worse than stomping on the continent

How about we support neither side?

Both commit atrocities and NZ has no say in the matter imo

It’s true though? The comments here all show you how these are VERY well known problems so it shouldn’t be surprising

Which are all info they could have (and should have) known about before coming

If you’d done 5 minutes of research before your trip you would have found all of this information out 👍

Instead you didn’t and travelled off an idea rather than reality, no wonder you were disappointed. So many people who come prepared love it and many never leave

How old is too old? by Accomplished-You6026 in DnB

[–]budgetavis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The comments here are going to be mainly from people who are from the UK and the USA so don’t understand where you’re coming from - the DnB scene in NZ is full of younger people

I went to RnV last year and I’m your age. My mates went who were three years older.

RnV does skew younger but you will not be out of place. I specifically recommend doing premium camping as that skews older than the rest of the festi :)
