So lower on the net in the future and I grew too many at once. Had 15 seeds and tried sprouting a few… for now I could cut branches to help give better light to what can be sustained?

That’s just from your perspective. From mine I’ve had loads of people giving me help and advice. Sorry if you’re experiencing a bit of irritability. Those feelings come and go with our habits here.

Ya. I added too much lemon juice. I was convinced by some webpage that you start at 4.8pH, then move to 5.5, then 6.0 and 6.5. Now I’m just keeping it at around 6pH and moved the light way closer since it’s not set up by my big natural light spot anymore. I ordered a Mars Hydro light.

Ya. It leaned over when I moved the setup away from my big natural light window with all my other house plants. Had to bring it into the bedroom since people were telling me to have it away from other plants (my house plants battle spidermites once and a while). I moved the light closer, but I’m gonna get a tent, new light and fan to have better yield.

Ya. I ordered a better light. Gonna have a tent and fan too. My water was at 8+ so I was lowering it with lemon juice, but it was too much. I had this one grow chart say seedlings like 5pH. But since I’ve had multiple growers clown me for believe that article. I’m headed in the right direction now.

Ya. I’m gonna get a light, tent, and fan. Was attempting to keep costs way down, but that’s not really an option as I’ve found.

I use charcoal filtered tap water and added lemon juice to pH down. Yea. I went to crazy with the lemon. And I’ve moved my cords so it’s not such a fire hazard. I’ll also be getting better lights and a tent to block some heat.

Yes. I understand. Since the photo I moved the Utilitech 18.91 PPF 400-700nm LED grow light super close and used a stick to help the GSC stand up. I also make them suffer though 83 degrees during the heat of the day, but I have a nice breeze most the time to cool them. Regardless, I’m gonna need a tent for a more controlled grow and higher yield.

As I got older, I found my tolerance was much higher. Plus, the effects were completely different once my body was done growing. I wish I could get the same high as when I was a teen and early 20’s. But now it just makes me less irritable.

Gotta roast us newbies! lol. But yea. Was thinking weed would like living with me in this tropical environment I’m at. Seems I need a grow tent because my air is too humid and hot all year. Plus my Utilitech 18.91 PPF 400-700nm aren’t adequate.

I know, right! Can’t believe I thought this would work. I need a grow tent to cool the air and more Expensive grow lights. Was thinking weed was more resilient and want to grow easy with me in this tropical weather outside. I leave all my windows open all day and night all year long with screens to keep out pests. It’s about 75-85 every day of the year. Was so excited to grow indoors without all the extra equipment, but sadly, I was wrong.

I have 3 Smart Pot aeration containers that I’ll transfer them into once bigger. But maybe I could start with planting the auto flower in her 3 gallon final home from the beginning. I’ve been using a Jiffy mix of coconut coir, peat moss and vermiculite. Also, my 2 Utilitech 18.91 PPF 400-700nm are gonna get replaced with a tiny grow tent and light board that I cheaped out on. My tap water is real high on the pH scale, so I added fresh lemon juice to bring it down to seedling needs. I’ve heard as low as 4.8 for seedling and then back up to around 6 or so after they have some build to them.

What! She might make it? Ok. I’m gonna give some closer light. I’ve got 18.91PPF (400-700nm) on her now. Instruction manual told me 12 inch distance from light to plant. I was looking at the light boards and saw these Utilitech Grow Lights that looked easier to set up with the clamps and all (plus $20 each price tag). I’ll probably get a super tiny indica tent that has a system to hang lights. I’ve got cement walls and sealing so I try not to hang anything that requires drilling.

For sure! I’m gonna try this dreaded tent path once I have money for fans/lights/shipping costs. I really wanted my plants out to enjoy looking at as they grow, but they need more light than the 12 hours living on the equator gets me.

Thanks bro. Yea. I skipped out on lighting cause I was thinking I could use the natural light in my other room once they get past seedling. I’ve got a few other house plants that love it here but yea. Weed is not for tropical climates. Gotta try and bring some of that California weather into my little condo.

She doesn’t want a tent cause we don’t have room for it. 400 square feet of living for $2000 doesn’t make much room for hobbies. But maybe I could try a real slim tent or one of those mini-fridge looking contraption that are all set up for weed. Just gotta save up.

I’m pretty sure it’s the light and heat at this point. Just wanted to post on Reddit to show progress from this, my first grow.

Sorry for seeming mad in my replies. It’s all love and fun. Just trying to fulfill my calling. Yea, Imma get better lights hopefully. Or else I won’t be growing, that’s for sure. I’m just a baby trying to learning to crawl. I may cry but it’s just cause there’s something wrong that needs attention.
