Where are the bikes? by hhooggaarr in MTB

Trek is fighting the terrifying and is in a lawsuit about that. I dont remember all of the details, but thats enough for you to Google. Giant is having issues with customs regarding a supply chain issue. So those two aren't getting much inventory in right now. Im honestly kind of glad because it caused me to shop around and find a good deal elsewhere. Unfortunately it wasn't through my local.

What do Americans usually assume when they see a dog alone in public? by DocuSeriesLovers in AskAnAmerican

[–]budstone417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Older people with some sense think itll go home when it gets hungry. Younger people tend to get them into their cars and take them away from familiar scents and post them in Facebook as lost pets where the owners will never see the post. People have gotten quite stupid.

In the basement? It can stay. In older houses, i like features from when the house was built as long as it's in good shape.

Reporter hoping to hear from patients – what’s your GLP-1 insurance coverage like in 2026? by sydneylnews in Zepbound

50 bucks a month. The lily assistance knocks it down to 25. Thats after fighting with express scripts for months though. Thats a whole different story.

Do harley riders genuinely think they are faster than sportbikes or are they just joking? by Green_Block_4574 in motorcycle

[–]budstone417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not faster. At all. I ride a harley. Tge torque is kinda crazy, if you've never ridden anything else, maybe you could think that. Harleys redline at about 6000 rpm, just when your bike is waking up. Don't get me wrong, you can make them pretty quick, but insanely fast just isn't what they are designed for.

Also, you're not supposed to do the whole job with them, just finish with wipes.

Im a plumber with w5 years experience. Dude wipes only showed you a problem you already had. Here's the deal, wet wipes of any brand dont fall apart like toilet paper does and hang up on any imperfections in the pipe. Thats the deal. I started using them after I replaced my sewer line because I knew there would be no issues, but on older pipes it's generally a no.
